"In his searing documentary of last year, “Seattle is Dying,” KOMO-TV’s Eric Johnson painted a dire picture by citing police officers who say the city’s lax enforcement regimen has tied their hands, quoting citizens saying they’re fed up with growing theft, and showing the frustrations of local business owners whose livelihoods are threatened by what they consider official inertia in the face of these problems.

Writing on KOMO’s website, Johnson said his documentary was “about citizens who don’t feel safe taking their families into downtown Seattle….about parents who won’t take their children into public parks they pay for. It’s about filth and degradation all around us. And theft and crime. It’s about people who don’t feel protected anymore, who don’t feel like their voices are being heard.”

Johnson’s documentary was aired in March of last year, some seven months before the Seattle City Council elections. It touched a nerve among many Seattleites and kicked up gale-force winds of controversy throughout the city and beyond. In the end, though, it didn’t have much impact. It will take a lot more civic chaos, dysfunction, and violence for this city to make the connection between that decay and the kind of leadership it so avidly favors. Seattle may or may not be dying, but it is in a far more ominous state of civic health than most of its citizens realize."
If you keep voting for liberal dipsh*ts, it will keep happening. You cant just exchange one liberal dipsh*t for another.

PDX isn't too far away either....
What is worse is when these people flee liberal strongholds like Seattle, California, and New York, and they bring their sh*tty politics with them to their new home.

Interestingly enough, I read an article (maybe here) that said its the conservative folks in these dumps who are leaving and making the red areas that much redder. The libs are staying in their shttholes

most folks who live in a big city would never be truly comfortable in the boonies...

you can call big cities names if you like but there's a reason so many people congregate in those spots.

Nothing wrong with cities themselves. Buildings are pretty... and it's cool that there are lots of restaurants and whatnot. They would be perfectly lovely places if the politicians that run them weren't 99% corrupt liberal scumbags. Hence the exodus.

Name an city in the country where Liberal policies and leadership have improved the city once the liberals took power for any extended period of time.

Before you waste your time looking for one, you won’t find one. There aren’t any.

Liberals create s hitholes, wallow in them then call you a racist for refusing to jump in with them.
Liberalism is indeed a mental illness.

They come in waves. Eventually when the money earners leave, the leeches have to follow or die.
Have you ever been to Seattle? I actually find it to be a rather beautiful city. I'm sure it is like any other major metro, where it all depends on the hood you're in. Much like New Orleans. But Seattle is booming right now with its big science influx.

There is a reason for that. Liberals dont care. They know there are no longer enough votes to cost them an election. Liberalism is a threat because its a winning election strategy based on the idea that the highly productive are always outnumbered by those that want to take what they produce. In the end, the productive and law abiding will leave and the city will be left with what remains. Alienating the productive is not a winning long term strategy. Eventually, Seattle and other "woke" ultra liberal cities like it, will be cautionary tales.

The problem with liberals and their policies is that they dont "attract" what causes the city to boom.

Science/Tech was already there. Once its there its difficult to move.

Then liberals start their dumbsh*t policies.

And over time, what caused the boom finally has enough and leaves.

wash....rinse....repeat.......
Think about the implications of this:

There is a political faction who believes it is important to force the decay of a lawful society into a lawless society, a polite society into an antagonistic society, a peaceful society into a violent society, an informed society into an uninformed society...

They believe that traditional morals should be not only discouraged but attacked and replaced with perversions of those morals.

Their perversions become the new baseline against which every other belief/action is compared. If you don't agree with their assessment you are a plague on society.

And the thing is, we can see the effects/outcomes of their new-world social justice morality. It's results are destructive -- human behavior sinks to the lowest common denominator.
