"...Pelosi has demolished decades of tradition with this poorly considered moment. Of course, many will celebrate her conduct and be thrilled by the insult to Trump. However, even those of us who disagree with his policies should consider what Pelosi destroyed in her moment of rage. She shredded the pretense of governing with civility and dignity in the House. Notably, she did not wait to rip up her copy of the speech until after she left the House floor. Pelosi wanted to do it at the end of the speech, in front of the camera, with the president still in the chamber.

That act was more important to Pelosi than preserving the tradition of her office. In doing so, she forfeited the right to occupy that office. If Pelosi cannot maintain the dignity and neutrality of her office at the State of the Union, she should resign as the speaker of the House of Representatives."

COME LINES IN THREES
I don't want her to resign. I love having a drunken, bitter, brain dead Dem leading them.
She's horrible, and even worse, she has lost control of the dimocrats in congress. She knew the impeachment was a lost cause and potential political suicide for a lot of congressional dims, but she had to move forward with it because of the outspoken crazies that have overtaken the house.

I received this in one of my texts: That Peloser violated 18 2071 section(b)

I asked the sender do we really want to go that route. We know Peloser, do we want a Group of 4 in her place or P.O. Shifty or Nadless? No, lets keep her there. She's more important for the Republican cause then anyone else.

That clown no longer has any credibility.

You're right. Nancy lost that a long time ago.
I bet the drunk old hag barely remembers tearing it up.

"...She seems closer to a 9-year-old who’s out of control.

She demonstrated this during the State of the Union address when, sitting behind Trump during his speech, listening to accomplishment after accomplishment, she fidgeted like a third-grader with an attention deficit disorder and then, on the president’s conclusion, stood up in full view of everyone and made a show of ripping her hard copy of his speech in half.

For a split second, I wondered if she was having a nervous breakdown. It was such a bizarre display on live television, bound to turn off, even sicken, any normal person viewing it. I imagined video replays of her behavior all over Twitter from now until November. (They’ve already started, as I’m sure some of you know.)...."

I am fairly confident her action, as pathetic as it was, did not violate that statute as I don't think a copy of the SOTU address would fall under it as a general rule.

I'm not 100% sure though because when combined with the Constitution she may be guilty if she destroyed the official copy that should have been filed with the clerk. The president is required to give Congress his remarks of the SOTU under Article 2 on the Constitution and that is why as a matter of tradition the President always hands a copy to the Speaker. But I assume a different copy, or the transcript taken on the spot, would be the official remarks for the record; thereforr she is probably of the hook.

No one of class and common sense has any credibility to the left. Only the insane people believe the other insane people are sane.
