So who is Lamy Thompson or was that a reference to Lamy Constant that I'm just not understanding?

Rivals showing him as a 3-star...

Watched some video and doesn't have blazing speed, but he's fast enough, and at 6'0 and 190 in high school, has decent size. Also looks like he competes in a pretty tough conference - with many of the teams he plays against also having good defensive size and speed. Not sure how New York area teams stack up in the league he competes in, but I've liked the running backs we have had out of New York/New Jersey in the past...
Constant is from Brooklyn. Maybe he heard the story about Tuzar Skipper making it from the Bronx to Toledo to the NFL. I'm not sure, but I don't think (relative to the population) that many players have made it from NYC to the NFL.

Just looked him up - a 3-star on Rivals out of Dallas, Tx. 6'1 205.

Looks like the coaches wanted the next combo of backs that emulate Seymour and Kobach. Also like the potential of freshman RB Micah Kelly from what I saw of him. Ddin't realize we were only returning 3 running backs for 2020.

For how many people live in NYC, you really don't see many football players come out of there. It's very much a basketball first town.

With the property values you're not going to see many fb fields. Even the Jets and Giants play in NJ

Even in New Jersey, they have to put it on top the school building.

Note that they announced Ellis as a LB, so there's another one. They also announced Crider as a DT not a DE.
Story from the website.

Strange that it also lists Leili as a PWO, but he's the only 1. We know other PWOs have signed, so not sure why they announced only one.

I meant Lamy Constant.

As of now, Constant stands as the 4th highest rated recruit to ever sign with Toledo, according to 247sports. He's behind 1) James Green - limited production at UT, 2) Corey Jones - three-time All-MAC selection, and 3) Rodney Adams - transferred to USF, 5th rd NFL draft pick.

So Carter Bradley was not in the top 3? I thought he was the only 4 star we ever had signed. (guess I was wrong)
Another tweet indicating another walk-on commit.

Hey How do you post a picture on here?
I now live in NJ but I did live for many years in Brooklyn very close to Canarsie HS where Lamy Constant is from. Brooklyn is now THE place to live in the NY metro area...but homes/condos are very pricey. Carniesie is a neighborhood very close to Coney Island. From OSU: Curtis Samuels, Jahsen Wint, Matthew Jones are all from Erasmus Hall HS in Bklyn. Former OSU great John Brockington (Thomas Jefferson HS/Green Packers) is from Bklyn. Hall of Famer Jim Brown is from Queens NY. In the NFL: RB Dion Lewis (Tennessee Titans) and Rashard Coward (Chicago Bears) are both from Bklyn.

I think Constant moved from East Orange NJ to Bkyn. I wish the Rockets would recruit more players from the Garden State. Adonis Thomas, Hall of Famer Roland Moss, and Robert Lisowski were all from NJ. BTW: the picture posted of a HS football stadium on the roof of a building is Union City HS. Union City is very close to NYC. Union City HS school was one of the most expensive HSs ever built in the state.

Hey How do you post a picture on here?

If it’s something copied from internet click on “reply” then select the icon with the littlemountain and red sun above the text box, just right of the bullet point option. Should be self explanatory from there. I don’t know how to post one from your own files.
