1. NoDak (No Change)
4. Denver (No Change)
6. Duluth (Up 6 )
22. WMU (No Change)
24. Omaha (No Change)
30. St. Cloud (Up 5)
42. CC (Down 3)
43. Miami (Down 1)

A net gain for the league this week. More significantly Duluth jumped all the way to #6. Giving the NCHC 3 of the top 6 teams right now.
NoDak seems virtually a lock now. Denver likely only needs 1-3 wins to be a lock. Duluth needs to go about .500 to get in, possibly a little less now. Miami and CC need to win the tourney. St. Cloud can afford 1 loss and still sneak in, but it needs help in that scenario.
That brings us to WMU and Omaha both are in relatively the same shape, with almost the same schedule, so I'll talk about WMU below, but trade one series v. Miami for one with CC and it's the same talk.

Last week we talked about WMU have a max of 3 regular season games they could afford to lose, well...they dropped one. WMU has 2 games left it can afford to drop, but keep in mind in that scenario it still requires WMU to win the opening series, and split in the Frozen Faceoff.

Things are really...really tight now, with 4 big time games to go, and 6 games where we will be heavily favored. But in hockey it's hard to be that perfect. (or another way to say it...we need 11 more wins through the Frozen Faceoff)
