They should beat Miami this Friday too and be on a pretty good roll. Perfect time for a team to be getting some momentum.

This coming Saturday the NIU vs Miami game is at 3 and not 3:30 as it says on the tickets. Hopefully Miami gets the ok to travel as the university is dealing with potentially the virus from China.

MaddDawgz is right, we were imploding and again have trouble finishing. Monty doesn't do a ton of things right, but he plays tough defense. However, his biggest weakness in my eye is FINISHING games! Good god that collapse was looking real bad.

We played ugly in first half, Ohio played great. Ohio played ugly second half,we played great (except for free-throws. Missing 3 in a row one and ones down the stretch was very alarming!)

What aspect of the game IS Monty responsible for?

Recruiting, offensive and defensive schemes, putting the right players on the floor, input into scheduling. But he can't make or miss shots, make turnovers or steals. What exactly was your point?

I'm dying to go but we're hosting a get together that evening and I have a ton of things to get done to prepare (and wouldn't be home in time anyway).

So, I'm hoping to get everything done and then tune in to watch it. I really want to see it.

If he does it Saturday, maybe Monty will call a timeout as soon as NIU gets the ball back or maybe after he breaks it on a free throw so the fans can acknowledge it

If I'm not mistaken, KSU had a bye at 11-7 last year and EMU had a bye at 11-7 in 2018.

So did Ohio in 2016.
