Clemson Tigers beat the tar holes in chapel hill for the first time in Clemson basketball history!

If we could go back in time and fire the AD before he forced Brownell out I wonder how different our school’s legacy would be.

This man retiring was the worst thing that ever happen to our athletic department.

Once he left the proceeding events wrecked a proud athletic program

Don't Chancellors have mandatory retirement/term limits?

We needed to be better prepared for his retirement.
When Dr. Leutze was Chancellor, the mandatory retirement age was 65. That applied to Bill Friday and C.D. Spangler of the UNC system as well as the Chancellors of the individual schools.
Whatever the reason for his retirement, if Leutze had stayed, Peg would have stayed AD and Brownell then doesnt get runoff
He was a great one but I agree with the age requirement and wish it was across the board in all state or federal jobs.

Yep. The firing of Peg was probably the biggest stain on this University from an Athletics standpoint. Even more than the Brownell situation (mostly because one led to the other).
Don't look now but Clemson about to take down #3 Duke.....

They might have more insight regarding Brad than the JMU chat board ?
Congrats to Coach B on another huge win!

Brownell has reeled off consecutive wins against NC State, UNC and Duke. He's going for the sweep against NC schools. Clemson doesn't play @ Duke this season, so Duke won't get a chance to exact revenge until, possibly, the ACC Tournament.

Clemson's next game is @ NC State on Saturday.

I'm excited for Brad. They have State on Saturday and then they play WF. Winning 5 in a row against NC opponents would be historic for CU, not that what he's achieved the past week isn't already historic.
The last time Clemson beat UNC, State and Duke in the same season was 1967.
With that win he became all times wins leader of Clemson basketball wins
