Obviously I would have loved to kept him another year, and seen him break some records, but best of luck Mike
Good for him. When players declare early for the NFL you have a good problem. Still lots of talent at RB.
Link? Source? I see nothing on the web or twitter thus far.

He tweeted it out himself
Yeah, turns out I didn't scroll down far enough in his twitter account. That just fuggin' sucks eggs. There is no replacement for Truck on this roster. I wish Tavion didn't have his head up his arse because we could've used him.
Selfishly, this is a total gut punch for me. What a great Bearcat. So pleased he opted to come here.

I wish him the best for he and his family.

They have talent at RB, it’s also the easiest position to find good replacement talent each recruiting cycle.
Really one of the best o erall Bearcats in a long while, I wish him well and he deserves all of the success he may earn in the future.

With Doaks, McClelland, and Montgomery coming back, our backfield will still be very dynamic, but this is an insanely big loss.

With that all being said...we cant get pissed at board members anymore, even CLF's own players struggle to spell his name correctly 03-lmfao
This is a big loss and honestly I'm really surprised. Hopefully he got good advice.
Doaks will fill the gap in production just fine and tbh the return of Mclleland and Montgomerys additional year in the program could very well leave us better off next year at RB even with this news.
Tough one for sure.

Although, I think he and Doaks were kind of redundant. I’m glad to see Doaks get his chance again. Win/Win.

Yes and yes. I love me some Truck Warren and what that dude brought every day on and off the field. Just a stud running back. Durable. SCORES TOUCHDOWNS and gets you that TOUGH YARD when you most need it. This is hard man. I know we got other dudes but we don't have anyone like him to call on. That's how good Truck Warren was for this Cincinnati Bearcats football program.
In other news, sans transfers, this is the first CLF recruit we've seen complete the cycle. Seems like yesterday he was a late flip to the class.
I looked up his stats and I don't see where Truck EVER FUMBLED. Did he ever commit a penalty? Damn, this one stings gents.
he ran behind a pretty average offensive line in 2018 and an offensive line with a lot of holes this year. He had an unbelievable ability to find a tiny crease and run through tackles. What a career for uc.
It's like when your first serious girlfriend dumped you. I will miss seeing this guy with his quick shifting feet and tree trunk thighs breaking ankles and tackles...

Yeah this one hurts for a lot of reasons. He was the face of a revitalized UC program. Set the tone VS UCLA two years ago and never looked back. Consistent all the way through and put the rock in the end zone better than anyone on the team. Carried himself with swagger and respectability all at once. Kinda guy you remember 10 years from now when thinking back to these teams. Like I said, I don't think we'll miss a beat, but it's bittersweet to see him go. Hope he gets drafted and makes a roster. More Bearcats in the NFL is a good thing.
Has there been other Bearcats that left early? I can’t think of any offhand.
Good. I hate to see him leave, but I am glad he made the choice to go to the NFL... He likely has a small window of time to earn a living as a football player and another 200 carries at UC would not have helped. I doubt another year would have helped as his size, style and position are not that of a high round draft choice.

I think he may have fumbled once...he didnt fumble a single time in high school either, kid was and is absolutely incredible at being the guy.

No one dumped anyone, this is a gut punch but not in a bad way. If we continue to have guys leave early, that means we're getting studs and they're making plays. I'm beyond happy for the guy!
