7 ACC teams represented, UofL leads the way.
I've never heard of "Perfect Game" so I can't speak to it as a reputable rankings provider. I think it is a little odd that all 25 are essentially power schools. The only outlier, if you would even call it that, is East Carolina. Even looking at the "others receiving consideration," the only non-power is Dallas Baptist which only plays baseball at the Division I level and has a consistently good program. I'm surprised there are no Big West schools on this list. They play terrific baseball and usually have someone, if not 2-3 schools, in the top 25.

Nobody should ever take a preseason ranking as gospel. The rankings looked heavily slanted toward the SEC and ACC rather than the “Power schools”.

And I don't. Just didn't know this source and found it odd. Using the previous 4 preseason rankings (I wanted to do 5 seasons but couldn't find 2015) from D1Baseball.com - a known and reputable ranking source - the top 25 included:

2019: East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, and Cal St Fullerton.
2018: Cal St Fullerton, Dallas Baptist, South Alabama, and Houston.
2017: East Carolina, Coastal Carolina, UL Lafayette, Cal St Fullerton, Rice, UNC Wilmington, and UC Santa Barbara.
2016: UL Lafayette, Cal St Fullerton, Houston, and Coastal Carolina.

I would say based on the ending of last season most people don't feel there were many teams outside the P5 ones that were that good. I don't remember any even making it to the supers, let alone CWS.

Perfect Game is one of normal polls that come outs every week. I think the most accepted ones are Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, DI, NCBWA, ESPN (USA) and Perfect Game. I follow all of them each week -- they usually run pretty close but definitely have a little variation of placement week to week.
FSU with a new head coach (but with a familiar name) and a good rotation of pitchers, some of these freshmen pitchers will contribute a lot of innings. Preseason 3rd team AA CJ van Eck and fellow Jr. Connor Grady will lead the pitching rotation.

Watch out! For a healthy Reese Albert. He slumped in the post season after injuring himself. He’s going to bat close to or over .400
