I booked our vacation house around the football schedule for 2020, but I could have sworn we had a home game on September 19th. When I looked it up here, it appears to have changed:

Did we originally have something scheduled there, instead of a bye week?

Looks like they are re-working the Conference Schedule with UConn leaving ... None of those games have concrete dates yet ....
The out of conference games are already set. We're confirmed to be playing Houston, Temple, USF, and UCF at home next year... Everyone but Houston has a Sept 19th out of conference game. I wonder what the likelihood is that we would play a conference game so early in September.
If TV wants it, it would be very possible.

We played Navy the 2nd week of the season last year, Sept. 8th, I'm pretty sure.
Looking forward to that game @Purdue!!
Please drop the CUPCAKES
Expect the football schedule to be released after the later period of signing day (February 5) to Valentine's Day. That's when the American releases the schedules. However, continue to look at fbschedules.com for the Big Ten to release their schedule (Purdue), Sun Belt (Arkansas St.) and Conference USA (UTSA) to release their schedules and just matched the Memphis game.

I can confirm that Jackson State and Tennessee State have agreed to play the SHC on September 12, so the Tigers will be away on that weekend. Meaning, the Tigers will more then likely be home on September 5.

In terms of the 2020 schedule, I would love the UCF game to be on a Thursday night in September or October on ESPN.
Man, that's one weak ass OOC schedule IMO.

Is Bowen still off the grid? I guess the Sun Belt didn't reward him for the scheduling.
I guess we are going to SEC route and playing a D1-AA school in late November.
I can understand Arky State, but UTSA and UT Martin? C'mon. Horrible OOC schedule.
Better or worse than the 2019 schedule that landed us in the Cotton Bowl?

I was thinking the same thing. I'd rather beat St. Mary's School for the Blind and go to the access bowl vs losing to Alabama and Clemson and going to the Birmingham Bowl.

Based on conference matchups alone I would say this is a tougher schedule than last year.
Wow, the out of conference schedule is terrible.

We could do that IF we also played their SEC schedule.

We did the exact same thing in 2013. I'm not quite sure when it matters we play our FCS game - and we'll always have one, so let's keep our eye on things we can change.
