The Clarion Ledger lists Troy State's Coach Maestri as one of the four finalist for the head basketball position.

What the guy has done at Troy has been amazing. He has USM ties & that will be a BIG +. I think it will be a done deal.
USM is not going to pay the $$$ for a big named coach to come in & be second bannana behind Jeff Bower. Bower is not going to let them bring someone in to draw attention away from himself or his program.

Saw an article in the Dothan paper the other day that seemed to indicate he was a serious candidate. I think he definitely deserves a long look.
