The Golden Flashes open up conference play tonight at the Stroh Center against the Falcons. I am almost positive that this game will be broadcast on CBS Sports at 9 bell. BG is 9-4 on the season. They have losses to Nevada and LSU along with a win over Western Kentucky under their belt so far.
Opening MAC play against a division foe on the road presents a nice opportunity for the Golden Flashes. Here’s to spacing out the Woodford Rocks and staying awake.

Go Flashes!!
CBS sports 221 Directv 9 PM
MAC triple header today. Ohio v Nevada at the Potato Bowl on ESPN in an hour, then Toledo at Ball St at 7 EST and KSU at BG at 9 EST, both on CBSSN (DISH 158).

I'm headed there - don't like the star time as I won't be home too early - don't know if BG students are back from break yet.
Wow I have no idea what they called on that defense rebound attempt.
This is a darn good broadcast. Although I likely won’t be up for the whole game, I think Kent is better than BG.
I do not like the officiating.
Yeah that first half was a whistle-fest.
Pippen hit with two in the first 52 seconds of the second half to the bench with 3 fouls.

Looks like the Flashes aren't bothered by that.
Our guard play has been really good tonight.

I’m just happy that it’s not Michael Reghi. I can even tolerate a couple “MAC conference” mentions from these guys.
MAC season starts and Pippen and Whittington immediately can't stay on the floor because of fouls. I don't know what it is exactly, maybe it's familiarity around the league but it seems our bigs are very foul proned in conference most years.
Is BG so bad or are we this good? This is a old fashion butt whipping. Having said that, I am disappointed with Pippen's play. Is he hurting or what. We have gone deep tonight.
If they can play like that with Pippen and Whittington fairly minor factors, it could be a very nice season.
Nice wire to wire win. Haven't seen the stats but is seemed like the guards contributed a lot on the glass which was big with Pippen and Whittington in foul trouble. Beck also stepped up and had a nice game. BG had a really bad night from three but we did exactly what we should do to a team that's having an off night.
This can be every night. We rolled the preseason MAC favorites on the road and got minimal contributions from Danny and Phil. We are deep and different guys can step up and help. An 18 game conference season is really long and grueling, but as I said before, I think we are built for success.

Late reply after watching MAC BB at B-dubs.... Kent's defense was most impressive as small-ball lineup w/o its two best inside guys on the floor not only locked up BG on defense, but opened the game up offensively.

Will likely need that effort and more ... even at home .. vs. a Toledo team that has lost four straight, and like BG was/is a preseason MAC favorite, and still has three probable All-MAC (first or second team) players. KSU bigs will have to be on point in this one ... and not on the bench.

That said ... clear message sent that Kent's 'A-Game' will be tough to handle for the rest of the MAC.
I wasn't able to see or listen to the game, but did Castillo play? I would think he would have played with the bigs in foul trouble.
