..or when he killed an American citizen via drone strike.

Let's face reality, the left isn't, for the most part all that upset the Iranian was killed, they are upset by who got him. It really is that simple.

How many American deaths are you OK with before we strike back? Even those on the left, will some, will admit this evil bastard has killed around 500 Americans. Along with 10, 20, 30, 100 thousand non Americans.

What is your limit before taking action? It really is that simple. You sound like as long as it's not you or your family, you are OK with any number.

No where in my post did I say I was against the killing of this man. I just don't want to see the country pushed into another war because a few people decide it's good for business or their interests, which is what usually happens.

And you're telling me there is 0% chance we end up at war with Iran in the next 1-2 years? I'd say you're crazy to believe that. There's at least a few higher ups waiting for their moment to get us into a real war with Iran.

Like I said, hopefully Iran does pretty much nothing in response. Just a bunch of hollow words
I hope Iran gives us a reason to break them for the next 100 years because eventually we will elect another bowing. scraping, tribute paying, puzzy like obama. So we need to take care of it now while we have someone with the balls to do.

You'll have plenty of chances to pay people off and surrender in life. Good luck

Let's hope it works out and doesn't go sideways

Meh, what could possibly go wrong? There's been nothing but trouble in the ME for a few thousand years now...I'm sure don the builder can fix it.

I hope “don the builder” will keep it from going nuclear. That good enough for you brainiacs? He will have to undo Barry’s attempt to give em nukes though...
The arguments against this strike are just stupid. Lets flip the tables. Lets say an American general was in Iran meeting with armed Iranian rebels plotting ways to kill Iranians. Would the Iranians really be wrong if they decided to kill our general along with a few of his key henchmen in the region? Nope---they would not be wrong and they would do it without giving it a second thought.

Shiate, they'd kill anyone who is an American. They couldn't care less if he was in the military or not. They just want to kill...anyone who doesn't adhere to their agenda. Hey, that sounds like the Demoncraps too.
Iranian Government Newspaper Posts New Vid, not surprised they have a blue check mark.

In related news the NYT calls him a national war hero

It might be noted that if we placed the fat, dumb, and intoxicated at the front the enemy would expend needed ordinance on the wrong target. So they might prove useful yet!
I think the selective service website crashing would be more aimed at Gen Z as they're the main ones in the age range of 17-24 right now. Millennials are like 25 to nearly 40 at this point, but it's all made up bs anyways for website clicks.
News today is the Ayatollah is supporting direct retaliation against US troops in the middle East and carried out directly by Iranian forces not proxies. Also claiming that it will be proportional.

I think Iran is miscalculating and such retaliation will lead us to war.

Iran has been given the white glove treatment by the US for too long. They are miscalculating because "they don't know what they don't know."

They will get their asses handed to them on an epic scale.

I'm willing to bet that what the Ayatollah is saying and what they may actually try to do will be very different things.

My initial reaction is this is just posturing and trying to save face by the Ayatollah. If there is actual "retaliation" I expect quick and a very disproportionate response, and I mean bigly disproportionate.
Why do people have to be so hyperbolic.

Yes I know its Vox and shouldn't expect any better

Quote:A deadly opening attack. Nearly untraceable, ruthless proxies spreading chaos on multiple continents. Costly miscalculations. And thousands — perhaps hundreds of thousands — killed in a conflict that would dwarf the war in Iraq.

Welcome to the US-Iran war, which has the potential to be one of the worst conflicts in history.

Do this idiots know nothing of history? We burned, literally firebombed entire German cities to the ground killing almost everyone in them on the road to Berlin. There will never be a conflict worse than WW2. The only thing that could remotely come close would be a nuke fight between the US and Russia and I don't think many people would be around after that to compare stats.
Bunch of cucks crying over Soleimani

Dresden and Tokyo firebombings produced more dead than Hiroshima or Nagasaki.
Yeah, anyone thinking this asshat is being mourned by anyone outside his immediate family is a first rate dumb***. One article called him a "popular" leader. I guess he was if you liked having your friends and family murdered in front of you. Many more so-called Americans are mourning his death today than actual Iranians. What you see on TV has the spontaneity of a Kim Jong Un military parade.
