Gardner might be the best player in our league. Won’t be the best NBA player, but I think he is the best player in the AAC. Could transfer and play anywhere in the country.

He very well could be the best player in the conference. I was impressed with him last year. He had right at 30 points today.

John Gunn and Alvin Wright were seniors. Toughest game for Melrose was beating South Side for the city championship. Bradley made a shot from near half court to time the game and send to overtime. Then hit a do or die shot from the same spot to win it. I was a senior in high school too.

Saw him play in Jr High School.
Wichita St is going to be a real test for us. Solid athletes with very good coaching. Our guys are going to have to play with some discipline and do all the little things.

Our conference isn't a cake walk. Some teams....Cincy, Houston, UConn, W.State....are tougher than others. Duh statement? Maybe. But let's not think we will go undefeated in conference automatically. We have the talent to compete every night tho!!! GTG
