For those that haven't heard, Todd Eaton - son of Jack Eaton - passed away yesterday. His wife found him on the floor of their home. Appears that he succumbed to a heart attack.

If you've ever met him - he was such a joy and reflection of his dad.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Update:

Just an FYI for those that would like to attend.

The visitation will be at 9:00am, followed by the funeral service this Friday, January 3, 2020, 11:00am, at Harvest Church also known as Forest Hill Baptist Church located at 3645 Forest Hill Irene Road, Germantown, TN 38138.
Prayers to the family.

Sad to hear. Prayers to the family.
Todd umped countless softball games that I have played, in every league in the city. He was always upbeat and positive. He never failed to tell me I was doing a great job as a father or to remind me how lucky I was to be married to a woman such as my wife. I really hate hearing this. He passed way too soon.
Oh my gosh. Todd was a great guy. Knew him from the Baptist Student Union.

Prayers for his family.
that's just sad. At his father's passing Todd was quoted:

"People need to love each other and put aside their differences," Todd Eaton said.

Todd hopes more people can spread the care that his father left behind.
My prayers for the family. I taught Todd in Sunday School when he was ateen.

Todd taught my ss class when i was a young single.

I'm crushed.
Wow... So sorry to hear this. I had a conversation with him just recently and he was upbeat and positive. We had numerous running jokes and he was looking forward to reffing my next basketball season. I always enjoyed him and our banter.

Thoughts and prayers for his family.

Same here.
This is certainly a sad day. Todd was a joy to be around, always upbeat and encouraging to the many kids he officiated games for over the years.

I first met Todd in the early to mid 70’s at Lindenwood Church in the gym. Although Todd attended Christ The King and lived out east, he would get a ride over to midtown to hopefully join in the game that many of us (some MSU FB or Baseball players) participated in every Sunday between morning and evening services. Mike Robb, (class act) who was the QB at MSU was a Youth Leader at the church and opened it up to the guys hoping to draw some in for worship service, as well.

Todd was a 13-14 year old kid playing with 21-22 year olds and could shoot the lights out, if you left him open, so generally he would end up on my team and we would find a way to get him open. He would always beam with pride with each bucket scored.

In the many times I ran into Todd thru my coaching days, he would always greet my with a big smile and hug, never forgetting to say thank you for those times in the Lindenwood gym when he got to play with the “big guys”.

I will miss that big smile.

Rest In Peace Todd.....God Bless You.

RIP
So sad. So terrible. I will pray for his wife and family.
Todd was one of the best guys ever. Lit up every room he ever walked in. Lit me up with countless technical fouls but it never strained our friendship. I deserved them. In recent years he has ump'd my son in the GBL and countless basketball games, and even my 6 year old daughter. Always saw and joked with my wife (who teaches at Briarcrest) as he was the schools AFLAC representative. I will miss seeing my friend. RIP to a great man.

Wish I could tell you different, but it has been confirmed.

I've known him for years and might go months without seeing him, but he'd always call me by name and talk sports the second I saw him. He had some incredible stories about him, his dad, and the Tigers.

Gone way too soon.
Sorry to hear that. Prayers sent for the family.
