The ACC's tour of G5 bowl matchups continues today in the Military Bowl. Three years ago, a favored Temple team was upset by Wake Forest. I expect the Heels to win a close game.

I hope it's close, because I am going to the game.
Halftime .... UNC leads Temple 20-6.

Impressed with the Heels QB. Accurate arm and mobile.
UNC scores on a pick-6 early in the 3rd.

34-6 Heels, the Owls look like road kill.
Another AAC team getting blown out. Wow. Guess Mack will build on this bowl game for next year.
Heels run the Philly Special to score a TD.

That is rubbing salt in the Temple wound. 03-lmfao

41-6
I have had a great time at this game. Cold but not bitterly so, and lots of big plays, mostly by UNC.

48-13 Heels

4th Q
Heels punch it in one more time ...

55-13 .... two minutes left.
P6! P6! P6!

I’m stuck at work and you get to watch a football game. IF I CANT WATCH THEN NOBODY SHOULD!
Game notes:

The AAC should stop sending Temple to this game. Temple is now 0-3 in the MB, losing to UCLA in 2009, Wake Forest in 2016, and now UNC in 2019.

Also, by far the worst-attended MBs in Navy stadium have featured Temple. Counting today's crowd of 24,000 the only two times the game hasn't drawn 30k have featured Temple.

Even Temple's cheerleaders were wimps: while UNC's lovely ladies braved the 48 degree weather and wore their regular uniforms showing plenty of nice leg skin, the Temple girls wore full-body sweatsuits. Boo!

And a pic of my ugly mug at the game:

I did not see this score coming. Looks bad for Temple/AAC. Heels were solid in Year 1 under Mack. I'm cautiously hopeful for UNC next year.

Quo with a nice use of "lovely ladies."

Not really... It looks TYPICAL for both Temple and the AAC.

The AAC went an amazing 2-5 last bowl season... so they are on track.

Temple's current coach is 0-7 in bowl games. Mack Brown is 14-8.
Didn’t App State beat UNC?

In Chapel Hill.
This game had zero to do with App State for crissakes so why are they mentioned?
Sorry for your loss Quo. I know how hard you were pulling for another reason to bash the ACC

Don’t you know? UNC is the “most hated”.
Carolina finishes the season in a dominating fashion with a three game win streak. Brown has turned around the program and I am excited about the future.

I don’t think Temple is a bad team, but the Heels looked top 25 yesterday and I think they could have played with most teams. I wish Temple good luck, and hope they stop losing coaches. Although, it looks like they dodged a bullet with Diaz.
