I would say, barring an unforeseen meltdown, ECU should extend their win streak to 4.

Houston should crush GT. And I believe they would play on Christmas night in the final, hopefully against Washington.

They were #1 in the nation in pace last year and are #9 this year. Clearly they like to run and press like Kevin Keatts teams. That oddball approach does kind of concern me that they play differently than most teams play and with it being a few days after Christmas after we are already distracted and likely less prepared.

"crush" is strong, their best guard from last year who hadnt played a full game since they beat NC state game 1, was just cleared yesterday against boise....

they beat NC state already... (The only full game they had at full strength)

with their top scorer/asisst man/steals from last season not playing (injured/ Alvarado..only cleared before boise).. lost to arkansas by one in OT.. and lost @georgia by 3...and had a competitive game with kentucky

whats the obsession here, every time houston is beating an opponent, everyone starts talking about how trash aand bad they are

grimes with the nearly perfect 1st half, 23 points in a half over 90% from the field

this would not have been a bad losss....the worst acc last year at seasons end was 123 net..that was the worst acc team....gtech is not favored to the be the worst acc

and side point your thoery of q3 meaning nothing, is wrong by every measure, i didnt want to bring up an old topic before...but since we are kinda on the same topic

but by every used commuter measure.. ALL.. they heavily favored teams that played teams that 150 (q3 games), than teams that were playing 300 (q4 games).by a heavy margin-...despite in your theory them not making a difference
even common sense disagrees with your theory why differentiate between q3 and q4 if it meant nothing, and the net is based on an equation, there is almost guaranteed to be weights based on q3 and q4.. there are top 50 net teams with multiple q3 losses and no q1 wins ... there is a top 30 NET team that is built exclusively of q3 wins (no q1 or q2 wins)
