Auburn. Closest to my house.
Georgia State or FAU please.

No thank you to any school from oversaturated North Carolina or in a poor, tough to reach rural area.

I would have to go for Ga State. Atlanta and Georgia, don't need a 3rd school in Fla.
App State, FAU, and any other G4 that looks good in a bowl game this year.

As always, I reserve the right to change my mind on any given candidate at about this time next year.
new mexico basketball

3 Florida teams? Probably a hard no from UCF and USF

Georgia State might be valuable
I'm thinking Buffalo or UAB.
Bemidji State Beavers - for their Ice Hockey.

Face it: we've achieved P6 status in Football and without UConn dragging us down we should prosper in hoops. There is literally nothing left to conquer. But Ice Hockey - is booming, and we could be leading edge for the growing number of eyeballs dying for more hockey, Now lets mine that Ice Hockey hidden gem diamond field to cement the conference status.

FAU is more likely to replace UCF when UCF moves to a P5 conference than to be added while UCF is still there.

Buffalo and New England would help the conference
You guys start a thread like this every year, and say the same things each time. You always want (A) the G5 teams which were ranked that season and the academies. Army has less than no interest. Independence works for USMA in football, and Army would never be competitive enough in basketball to be in the AAC. Your conference, moreover, has way too large a geographical footprint for schools with any practical fiscal responsibility. Your less desirable than you all think you are.

And plus, you lose all your bowl games.

Not in the ACC. We do NOT need schools that ESPN considers to be worth 400 K or less. Enough of these backwoods southern schools. If there were a good Texas school available that would be different.

At least AFA has a good following and good viewership, that is also somewhat true of Army.
