We have a bit of a break until Sunday when we head to Tampa to face South Florida. We will be a pretty big underdog in this one.They have been up and down in what is a decent OOC schedule. They beat Wofford by 14 (Who W&M beat by 1), lost to perrenial WAC winner NMSU, lost to a decent Nebraska team. They also beat Furman and Loyola (Chi). They are a good defensive team. They are only scoring 62 points a game. I am sure we will help their cause and let them have a big offensive game. They play a solid 8 man rotation with as many as 10. Size will be an issue as their forwards are all big. We will need a big game from Butler to have a chance. I think we struggle to cover whatever spread is given (anticipating it to be double digits), and I do not trust this team to show up on the road and win. I think we are capable, but have not shown it yet.

I was watching the game early in the 2nd half and it was a pretty close game. I told my wife that I'll start cooking dinner as soon as the game starts getting out of hand. Dinner was started before the under 4 timeout. I clearly saw that a collapse was imminent.

It's pretty tough to lead by 2 points with 9:50 remaining and still lose by 20. But leave it to Spiker's Dragons to make it happen.

Spread was 11, a bummer we couldnt play it out. We seem to get into our own heads and cause turnovers and silly mistakes.
