Should be played every game. It brought a tear to my eye.
Memphis AF
Ha that was a pretty cool moment. I like that it's unique to Memphis. It's not like playing Enter Sandman or Sweet Caroline. Can't imagine what the Cincinnati fans were thinking lol.
I would have just played the entire 4th quarter non stop on loop. Eventually the entire crowd would’ve rioted, run on the field and not only torn down goal posts also torn up all the turf and thrown the Cincinnati players and coaches out of the stadium.

When we say “whoop that trick,” we are signifying a gendered, bodily violence that is visited upon the disadvantaged by the powerful, even if that is not our intention.

Bur saying Norvell quit on his team and the city is of color? Got it.

Quite simply, it means to beat the "ho", or, "prostitute" that is in your employ.
It’s a freakin metaphor. Wtf is wrong with you literals . lol

It meant Cincy was our metaphoric bitz of the moment.

Now this moment cannot be compared to mindless accusations about our former coach that were posted in a moment of duress. Just delete the duress thread and stfu. lol

The trend is good! We’re all family ! Tiger nation rocks!
I'm still close with my former father-in-law. He's 71 years old, and as much of a straight laced conservative old guy as you could ever meet. 30 year military man. He never had a son, so he goes to the games with me or my ex-wife whenever he can.

Let me tell y'all....one of the (many) highlights from Saturday night was watching this old guy dance his ass off to Whoop That Trick. He was completely in the moment and it was so much fun to watch.
Trashy but not LSU, Neck-STTDB, trashy or Bama Dixieland delight trashy.

Sorta low level trashy.

They essentially did. Think they played it three times. I'm guessing they saw the crowd/player reaction and decided to keep it going.

I'm not sure if we make it an every-game occurrence, but it definitely hyped the team up. The Grizz use it for big games, and the crowd eats it up.

Interesting read... I don't feel bad at all about us after reading that.

Naaaah....not every game. Save that for the rarest of occasions, and keep it special. When it gets played, it MEANS something.
