Zimmerman is represented by Larry Klayman, a high-profile legal crusader tied to conservative causes and the founder of Judicial Watch before splitting with the activist group.

The suit in Polk County Circuit Court cites information in a documentary about the case that accuses the Martin family of engineering false testimony, and the director has scheduled a press conference this week in Coral Gables to coincide with a film screening there. The suit seeks $100 million in civil damages, alleging defamation, abuse of civil process and conspiracy. A copy of the suit was distributed to media Wednesday by the movies’ director, Joe Gilbert. The case does not yet appear on the online docket of the Polk court system.

The complaint alleges that in March 2012, the Sanford Police Department closed the case as self-defense. But a week later, the Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump produced a recorded audio tape of “Diamond Eugene” who was Martin’s 16-year-old girlfriend who had been on the phone with Martin just before the altercation with Zimmerman, it says.

The complaint alleges two weeks later, 18-year-old Rachel Jeantel told prosecutors she was Diamond Eugene “and provided false statements to incriminate Zimmerman based on coaching from others.”

Based on Martin’s cellphone records, the lawyers argue Rachel Jeantel was not Martin’s girlfriend, was not on the phone with him before the altercation, and that “she lied repeatedly to cause Zimmerman’s arrest and to try to send him to prison for life."

I feel his pain but Z will never get any money out of this litigation.

He should get something for the doctored 911 call insinuating he was racist.

The attorney may have some money.

There is actually a criminal offense here. But I guess Orlando is not interested.

Might not be the express purpose of the suit. However is also suing the state of Florida.
Might not be his best strategy. He can, and will, be deposed under oath, and he cannot use the 5th Amendment since he was found not guilty.

I didnt read what was linked but why would he need to take the 5th or being afraid of being deposed under oath?

He shot a man that was using a piece of concrete to bash his head into. A man that had made it home, then turned around to go find the white cracker, and teach him a lesson.

The lesson learned...gun kills faster than sidewalk curb and sometimes it best to not go looking for a fight. Of course at that point it was too late to understand that lesson

This. What most people don't know is Zimmerman was walking back to his truck talking on the phone with the 911 operator when Martin jumped him after hiding behind a bush. The media will eviscerate Zimmerman again for "Opening the Wound" for the Martin family.
I don't disagree with the original verdict or anything, but he's been a real bag of **** since this all went down. It would probably be in his best interest to change his name and lay low.

Agreed.

Quite frankly, there are enough people out there who admire him that somebody could fix him up with a decent house/job/car etc. if Z would just let them.
He can't quit tripping over his own d*ck.

All the more reason to pursue this and go after the people who tried to railroad him. He's really got no prospects.

He also assaulted a law enforcement officer before he killed Trayvon. This piece of turd could have been a pedo preying on boys. Trayvon had the right to defend himself from this nut job. What is going be brought up would be his past before and after he killed Trayvon. This turd should be on death row, but he gets a pass because his father is a judge.

Like most other things you are living in a world of fantasy. It's that or getting everything you know from MSM...both are about the same.

The guy made it home..standing in his fenced in backyard talking to his friend on the phone. She tried to talk the idiot out of going hunting for this other idiot. But he wanted to teach the "cracker" a lesson.

As I said earlier that lesson is...gun trumps sidewalk as deadly weapon. That is the last "cracker" the idiot will ever see or try to attack. Trayvon Martin got what he wanted. It's idiots that believe the false story the media feed them that believe otherwise.

Just like even today when you search Trayvon Martin this is the first picture that comes up with the story on this lawsuit.

You really have to search hard to find a picture at the age of his death because google is full of the pictures as a 12 years old. But below is one of the last pictures he took. It's a far cry from the kid as a 12 year old

the person that looks to be at least 6' with slight facial hair on the right

"...In the recorded interview with Diamond Eugene, Crump openly led the witness. She mostly just echoed everything Crump said. Two weeks later, prosecutors went to Miami to interview 16-year-old Diamond Eugene under oath. That’s when, as I recently learned, 18-year-old Rachel Jeantel appeared, claiming she was Diamond Eugene. Despite the discrepancy in name and age, prosecutors interviewed Rachel Jeantel anyway and used her obviously false statements to issue an affidavit of probable cause for my arrest. The rest is history.

Hollywood filmmaker Joel Gilbert just released a film and book of the same name, The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America. He investigated the public records and made a discovery – Rachel Jeantel was an imposter. She was not “Diamond Eugene.” She was not Trayvon’s girlfriend. She was not on the phone with him before our altercation. She lied in court about everything she claimed to have heard over the phone in order to send me to prison for life...."

You think he was guilty of first degree murder?
