We complain about ETSU's home opponents but VMI is playing Christendom College tonight and leads 85-15 with 8 minutes to go. Yes not a typo but 85-15.

And this is the SoCon ESPN3 game tonight.
Life is never fair 01-wingedeagle
Final score:
VMI 96, Christendom 20

Largest VMI lead-79 points
Ouch just imagine if Christendom went up against a D1 team.
Must be the upset of the century. 5 guys beat the worldwide body of believers
I understand that most teams at our level play games like this, but its exactly why we can't argue that we are one of the best 65 teams in the country when March comes around. I almost exclusively watch mid-major basketball as opposed to the power conferences, but there is no way that many teams at our level should be in the NCAA tournament.

As evidenced by this year's home schedule and everything that has been said about it, mid majors would rather play games like this than against other mid-majors. It's inexcusable.

There’s still December to go, but I think this may be my favorite post of the year 03-weeping

What’s the inside on Our Lady Of The Lake?
VMI does have a victory over a D1 - UC-Davis, which was in the NCAA tournament in 2017 (won their First Four game, blown out by Kansas in the round of 64.) The Keydets are #306 in the Pomeroy ratings.
