UAB athletics without football would be a very sad place right now.

The last 2.5 years have been something from a dream.

Last year was the first year in the history of D-1 UAB football that we ended the season on a good note. Every single year before then we either:

Ended the season on a loss
Ended the season knowing we were not getting to go to a bowl game
Ended the season getting blown out in a bowl game
Ended the season to discover our program was getting taken from us.

The bowl game last year was great! Much better than the 41-6 loss that I witnessed down in the Bahamas! Hopefully, we do well again this year too. The QB's should be healthy/better prepared by then.

the bahamas game was just a step forward ...and we saw it the next year again NI.

this year was above expectation for everyone outside die hard uab fans ,,,
it was close to a dream season until we lost the qb ....think about it we lost 35 seniors .,,..,everyone was expecting us to be very bad ,,not even average team

An outside chance of making the championship game but it is nothing we should concern ourselves with right now.

Just need to win Saturday for starters.

Just win the next game.

After losing 35 seniors I really expected us to have a bad year. This year's coaching is more impressive to me than last year. I did not expect this team to be bowl eligible and I am thrilled.

A good year indeed that can be made into a great year with a signature win vs La Tech
