They are flying him back to Birmingham right now. Hate to see this happen to him.

Up 28 and injured he shouldn't have been in the game. I hope he's okay!
Out for the season. Praying for a speedy recovery. I really didn't think it'd be a good idea for him to play. Does he declare for the draft or give it another year?

If he was healthy enough for LSU then I don’t see an issue with him playing at MSST. Saban said he was going to pull him at the half. As this was a different part of the body, I don’t think it’s related.

That said, Tua’s college career is over. He’s going to the pro’s.

Probably not. His hip injury is essentially the same one that ended Bo Jackson's career. I don't think he'll get drafted high enough to get a bonus of any kind and may not get drafted at all. It's bad!

Depends on the severity of the fracture. Jackson had a necrotic hip episode after his injury which was caused by loss of blood flow to the injured area. We have much more advanced diagnostic tools these days. They got on this in a hurry. I will comment on trainers standing him up and trying to make him walk, which was medical malpractice. I have transported enough of these injuries to know how it is properly done. Making a guy with a possible hip fracture stand up and try to walk is not the way it is done. They take too many injuries for granted on the field. They drag players off the ground way to often. You have to rule out any possible injury prior to movement. In this case they failed.
From what I have heard, it will be about a year before he's even ready to do drills on the field much less play in a game.

The question will be what type of mobility he will have in conjunction with how well the bones heal.

Also, sounds like the reduction at the stadium was necessary to re-establish blood flow.
