Way back in 2010 we only won 2 football games. Those wins were the straw that broke the camel’s back for those programs. They fired their coaches. The Ragin’ Cajuns fired Ricky Bustle and the Arky State Red Woofs (they were the Injuns back then I believe) fired Steve Roberts.

Yesterday we got Chad Morris fired.

It’s not exactly a compliment for us when losing to Western causes you to fire your coach. I just find it amusing.

On our end we’ve only fired 2 football coaches in our history as far as I remember. We fired David ELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLson who took us into FBS football after a historic losing streak. And last year we fired Junior Goober aka Mike Sanford Junior.

Evidently the Natural State hates losing to Western Kentucky since we’ve caused 2 of their coaches to be fired.

Please keep WKU AWAY from my employer. I want nothing to do with you. 04-chairshot
We retired the Bear. We gave Johnny Vaught a heart attack, so he had to retire. We've run-off a bunch of MSU coaches.

We've also ruined a lot of debuts.

Try and keep UK and Louisville on your schedule. You'll do the same to them eventually.

All credit to USM for beating the Tide in Bryant-Denny in 1982 — breaking Bama’s 57-game winning streak at Tuscaloosa. I remember well listening to Reggie Collier &co that day on the radio.

But Bryant was retiring at the end of that season no matter what. Winning or losing one particular game didn’t drive that decision at all.
