Glad to see Max as a projected starter tonight. I was a little concerned when he didn't come back into thr BU game after that bad fall. Harvard continues their bad luck with the injury bug with Towns out indefinitely and Aiken, who sat out their opener, not penciled in as a starter tonight.
That's unfortunate for Harvard, I saw they didn't play against MIT but didn't know why. On paper they are a real good team. We need to take advantage if they dont have a full lineup. We avoided Aiken last year didn't we?

Anyway, Vegas has Harvard at -3 for tonight. Go Huskies, I might try to find a bar to watch the game.

Yep. We avoided BOTH of them last year.....but we were a little shorthanded, too.
Ugh, looks like Max not in the lineup. Hoping he's okay....
You haven't trailed, and you led 56-36 with 16:41 left. With 12:15 left, your lead was down to 6. It went down to 4, but back up to 10 with 6:59 left. Your lead is down to 73-70 at the last media timeout with 3:38 left. Brace committed an offensive foul with 4:03 left, so Harvard should resume with 5 seconds left on the shot clock.

Edit: You won 84-79. Roland scored a team-record 44. He broke the record with 42 with a three, got fouled, and missed to not get a four-point play. From 2010-2011 to the present, Roland has the 35th player season with at least two games with at least 39 points. Justin Wright-Foreman, who had three such games last season, is the only other CAA player of the 35. Central Michigan's Marcus Keene had the most such games with a whopping seven in 2016-2017, when he averaged 30.0 points, and that was his only season for Central Michigan. Max did not play. At the start of the season I thought it would be Riller vs. Knight for POY, kind of like Bellinger vs. Yelich for NL MVP, but people should take notice of Roland, and he should get mentioned on websites that do overall teams (meaning players on different teams like First Team, not teammates) of the week. Not all of the top teams played hard games this week, so that could help mid-major players get recognized.

The CAA went 4-1 against Division I teams to improve to 9-3 against Division I teams, and UNCW covered in a 78-62 loss to UNC.

I'm hearing Max will miss anywhere between 1-3 games.

So probably a no-go at UMass Tuesday night ...

Very nice win. We've got the better of Harvard the last 10 years. I'm hearing Towns may miss the season again and Aiken should be back soon for them. But they STILL had Top 100 talent tonight on the court.

Roland was ridiculous once again. Walker is just going to get better and he's bridging the surface as to how good he'll be for us.

Still concerned of the play of Murphy and Eboigboden the first 2 games, need them to step it up.

On to UMass ...

Congrats to Roland. He's had a special week, completely deserved.

It's looking like he has developed into a star player for us. Lots of confidence right now.

I didn't watch the game, but I kind of followed the box score. 20 point lead finishing at 5 isn't great, but Harvard is good. I'm concerned about Brace, and the bigs. Maybe they looked good out there but their box score wasn't pretty. Seems like Walker is quite the player, though we knew that already.

I don't want to turn into a team where we rely on one player. We kind of saw it TJ Williams' senior year, and we definitely saw it last year with JWF at Hofstra. We still have time to figure it out. But hey, we're 2-0, can't be better than that right now.

Concerned about Max obviously. I fear the worst after last season, hopefully its nothing.

Agree with everything. Harvard's roster is filled with players rated over two stars and we now have a win over a top fifty team.

I KNOW we saw the CAA Player of the Week and probably the Rookie os the Week. I haven't seen any other CAA games but if any other CAA rookies outplayed Tyson then they must have been pretty special.

I thought Franklin had a nice game. He looked pretty steady out there.
