saw this- and it's so funny-
Personally I thought the 9-6 game was pretty riveting. I realize im in the minority though.
CBS has selections 1&4 and ESPN 2&3 for Nov 16 games that come out today. CBS can only use one more pick on Alabama.

Will Disney attempt a coup and force the Iron Bowl to ESPN by boxing CBS into picking Alabama-Mississippi St with the 4th pick?

nope-

anyways, I think CBS would have taken either Kentucky/Vandy or South Carolina/Texas A&M- over the Alabama game- knowing they'd get the Iron Bowl....
so how about this-
So the Patriots took the best available holder with their first round pick tonight. 05-stirthepot
More from Mandel-
How much has the sport changed? Nine starters from those 2011 games got taken in the first round. Three were on offense.

15 starters from the 2019 game have gone in the first round. Three were on defense.

IMO it was one of the very best games of the 2010s.

The thing that is so amazing to me about the 2019 game is even though it was just 18 months ago- it feels like 10 years ago right now. And that 2011 game feels like 20 years ago.

Wow, for me it's different. The 2011 game seems very recent to me, maybe like 5 years ago, while the 2019 game seems like six months ago.

Something about the virus has made me kind of overlook the 2020 season and still sort of regard 2019 as the last "real" season, even though I was and remain very happy that football was played in Fall 2020, fully acknowledge Alabama as the 2020 national champ and the results of all the games played, etc.

It's just a gut thing.
