He inherited a sh¡t-show. Will take a year or two to clean up the mess.

He is a ****-show, as a person. Hope his parents are getting to see him more now that he lives 15 miles closer to them. 07-coffee3
LOL. Jealousy looks good on you.

Speaking for this Charlotte fan, I am extremely happy with our new coach and there is not one iota of jealousy for Houston. We'll see if we have more luck getting to bowl eligibility than him.

Yeah, it's not jealousy. It's a lousy bastard who lies to people getting what he deserves and loving to watch it go down.
Several things.
1). Liberty isn’t eligible yet as they have two wins against FCS schools.

2). Toledo and Western Michigan became eligible in this weeks Maction.

3). Maryland, Texas State, Vandy, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Colorado, Army and Ole Miss play elimination bowl games this weekend. Texas are I and West Virginia play each other in a “loser has to win out from here” game.

4.). Seven six loss teams are on bye this week.

5). Of the 20 five win teams, USC and AZ St. and Louisville and Miami play each other in “winner gets eligibility” games, while 3 teams are on bye.
Guaranteed C-USA Bowls:

20-Dec Bahamas Bowl (C-USA vs MAC) Nassau
21-Dec New Mexico Bowl (C-USA vs MWC) Albuquerque
21-Dec New Orleans Bowl (C-USA vs SBC) New Orleans
23-Dec Gasparilla Bowl (C-USA vs ACC/AAC) Tampa
30-Dec First Responders Bowl (C-USA vs Big 12) Dallas

C-USA Secondary Agreement Bowls:

26-Dec Walk-On's Independence Bowl (ACC vs SEC) Shreveport
20-Dec DXL Frisco Bowl (AAC vs MAC) Dallas
24-Dec Hawai'i Bowl (MWC vs BYU/AAC) Honolulu

C-USA bowl eligible teams (Week 11):

Louisiana Tech (7-1)
UAB (6-2)
Marshall (6-3)
Florida Atlantic (6-3)

C-USA 1-win from bowl eligible teams:

Western Kentucky (5-4)
Florida International (5-4)
Southern Miss. (5-3)

C-USA 2-wins from bowl eligible teams:

Charlotte (4-5)
North Texas (4-5)

C-USA 1-loss from bowl elimination:

Middle Tennessee (3-6)

C-USA 2-losses from bowl elimination:

UT San Antonio (3-5)

C-USA teams already bowl eliminated:

Old Dominion (1-7)
UT El Paso (1-8)
Rice (0-9)

We could see as many as 8 C-USA teams become bowl eligible and as many as 3 not going bowling despite being bowl eligible.
I think if 8 teams get eligible all 8 will play. Maybe one will sit out. Too many openings out there.

It's looking to be a surprisingly good year for extra bowl slots, which is good news for C-USA teams in particular this year.
Tech is 7-1, not 7-2, FYI. Ideally 8-1 by Sunday 03-wink

So if I have my calculations and other's peoples insight correct, here's where I think we stand going into Thursday 11/7/19 action

ACC - 4 in, 10 in play, 0 eliminated
Big 10 - 7 in, 5 in play, 2 eliminated
Big 12 - 4 in, 6 in play, 0 eliminated
Pac 12 - 2 in, 10 in play, 0 eliminated
SEC - 6 in, 6 in play, 1 eliminated, Missouri bowl ban
AAC - 6 in, 3 in play, 3 eliminated
CUSA - 4 in, 7 in play, 3 eliminated
MAC - 3 in, 8 in play, 1 eliminated
MWC - 4 in, 6 in play, 2 eliminated
Sun Belt - 3 in, 6 in play, 1 eliminated
Indy - 1 in, 3 in play, 2 eliminated.

CUSA has 3 "in play" teams that could become eligible this weekend...WKU (at Arkansas), USM (host UAB), FIU (at FAU)

So by my best count there’s 44 teams now eligible for 78 spots with 70 teams still in play. AGIAN.....A lot of those “in play” teams will be eliminated in the next 2 weeks as quite a few 6 loss teams play each other and/or play 1 or more ranked teams

Teams with 6 wins but have restrictions:
Missouri - bowl ban
Virginia Tech - 2 FCS wins so needs 7 wins
Liberty - 2 FCS wins so needs 7 wins

Thanks, fixed that.
Temple's win last night over USF all but wrapped up the AAC's bowl teams fates. Their remaining 2 teams "in play" will have to pull a miracle as USF (4-5) finishes with #20 Cincy, #21 Memphis and at UCF. Houston (3-6) finishes with #21 Memphis, at Tulsa and home vs #24 Navy. ECU (3-6) is already out as they have 2 FCS wins with 3 games remaining so at best they'll only have 5 countable wins.

AAC - 7 in, 2 in play, 3 eliminated
CUSA - 4 in, 7 in play, 3 eliminated
MAC - 3 in, 8 in play, 1 eliminated
MWC - 4 in, 6 in play, 2 eliminated
Sun Belt - 3 in, 6 in play, 1 eliminated
Indy - 1 in, 3 in play, 2 eliminated.

So by my best count there’s 45 teams now eligible for 78 spots with 69 teams still in play. AGIAN.....A lot of those “in play” teams will be eliminated in the next 2 weeks as quite a few 6 loss teams play each other and/or play 1 or more ranked teams

Honestly, Marshall would probably bring more fans to the Belk Bowl than Charlotte would.

Doubtful, but irrelevant. this is the Belk bowl. Not the Gander Mountain Hunting Apparel bowl. Marshall fans aren't their target demographic.

Until projections start placing Marshall in the Belk Bowl and/or the Belk Bowl twitter account starts interacting with Marshall football's that debate would be as big a waste of time as placing recycling stations near pristine creeks when Marshall fans are around.
I am supremely confident that Southern Miss will be in the New Orleans Bowl.

Why? The next time we play in front of more Charlotte fans instead of Herd fans in Charlotte will be the first.

clt is baffled by your logic and syntax.
I see the Belk bowl's troll game is on point. Getting the ten's of Charlotte fans excited over a bowl they will never sniff.

Good trolling Belk.
I've seen both Liberty and UNCC predicted to the Belk Bowl. Of course I'd be jealous of either getting an invitation
