I'm watching this game. WKU is up 14-0 w/2:56 left in the first Qtr. Surprisingly, WKU has been dominating. But a WKU punt returner badly misjudged a FAU punt, and it ended up being a 77-yd punt by FAU. Now WKU's is back on its own 3 yd line.

So, WKU was leading comfortably 14-0, and had possession of the footbll around it's own 30-yd line, w/8:36 left in the 1st half. All they really had to do is NOT make a huge mistake.

So you know what happens next?

The WKU QB drops back to pass, gets hit from the blind side, fumbles, and FAU walks it in for a TD. A HUGE mistake.

Score is now, 14-7, WKU.

Now after the kickoff and a couple of penalties, WKU is forced to punt from their own end zone.

And now, after a trick play --a Double reverse that includes a pass back to the QB running down the sideline-- FAU scores another TD after just another couple of snaps.

You can't make this stuff up. Game tied 14-14 now, with 5:16 to go in the first half.

FAU scores on TD pass to make it 21-14 FAU, with 46 seconds left in 1st half.

FAU needs to put a whole game together one of these days.

We can't have a sucky quarter against a solid opponent.

This really hasn't been about anything FAU has done.....WKU just keeps shooting itself in the foot with fumbles, penalties and bad field position. All in the last 8 minutes. The Toppers went from a comfortable 14-0 lead to a complete implosion, in the last 8 minutes.

Well, FAU couldn't get offense going in the 1st quarter. Trick plays had started our offense in the 2nd quarter. I mean, FAU had to go 78 yards for the 3rd TD and 58 yards before that.

FAU had a quick TD on a 3-play drive to start the 3rd quarter and WKU lost the ball on downs deep in FAU's territory. Neither team is good on 3rd or 4th downs.

I think the TV camera man for this game has been drinking. That long completion was literally unwatchable until they went to an End Zone camera replay.

WKU has another drive deep into FAU's territory. WKU is in red zone.

So WKU finally regains their footing and drives 82 yds in 8 plays to pull within 28-21. This really is a good game.

WKU TD! FAU 28-21. WKU put a really good drive together to stay within striking distance.

We're just looking for a way to give it away.

FAU goes for a fake punt and gets a first down on our own 20. Risky stuff but it worked

Gotta give Kiffin credit, he's not conventional at all. He will take some risks. Kiffin is the absolute antithesis of Skip Holtz.

End of 3. FAU still up 28-21. FAU has a 3rd and 9 in WKU's half of the field.

This game is fun game to watch. LANE KIFFIN makes the game fun to watch.
