I know some of you are suggesting Uber/Lyft. I'm tempted to do that myself.
If you have used it in the past, please advise, if it was easy to get the rides i.e. were there enough available. Other day I took Lyft from the airport and wait was 15 min+. Additionally, is there specific location for Uber/Lyft that you needed to be for pick-up?

Please share your experiences. Thanks in advance.

Easy to get to the game....a bit of a nightmare getting out
Ask yourself what you think a situation where hundreds, maybe thousand of people are all attempting to do the same thing all at the same time in the same area, and traffic in that area is already crazy because thousands more are all simultaneously trying to leave.

I would guess you’d be waiting a while for a car if you try to Uber home from the game. If I just had to use Uber, I’d probably plan on heading over to Cooper Young and grabbing a drink and trying to get a car after an hour or so.

Does Cooper Young get really busy after a Tiger game?

I’m sure it will be a zoo. Could be wrong though.
Cooper Young is always very busy on a Saturday night.
You'll need to walk to a point where they can drive to pick you up.

Traffic will be too much leaving the Stadium-Fairgrounds area.

I'd try walking to Central BBQ or Young Ave. at E. Parkway.

Once you've agreed to a ride you can call the Driver & tell them exactly where to pick you up.

That makes it much easier to deal with.

You bet your ass it does.

Even after a 25K game.
Thanks all.
Cheer uncontrollably as the Tigers win on the last possession. Leave the stadium and walk to East Parkway. Go to Young Street and turn West (should be a left). Walk about 1/2 mile to Cooper. Go past Cooper and enter the Young Ave Deli. Drink heavily to celebrate until 12:30 am. Remember to turn to clock back and that means it is only 11:30 on Saturday. Drink heavily until 12:30 on Sunday again (Ok...i fudged and it is actually 1:30 on Saturday but when you wake up you won't know the difference). Call an Uber/Lyft...it will be there in 10 minutes but you won't care.
We always Uber to the game no problem, After the game we walk to Celtic Crossing and have a bite and few beers to let the crowd/traffic dissipate and the surge pricing to go down. It can be a pain to get a ride right after the game.
I agree with those that say easy going to game and bug wait leaving game. At the AAC championship game in Orlando it was a dream getting in and took an hour to get out and we walked a mile to a residential area.

Walking to cooper young is a great idea if you have a little time after the game.
