Up one halfway through third, bottom falls out. We do have to keep Jaren from constantly reaching and slapping down. He's working on it and I can tell he's trying but he does fall back into old habits way too frequently. Now every opposing coach is sending players right at Jaren, picking up cheap fouls, easily getting him off the floor. That said Anthony Davis initiated many of those contact calls. When it became apparent that's how those whistles were going to go, over and over, not sure what we can do other than just get out of the way. I will give him credit for hitting 26/27. That's a great percentage for a seven footer.
Yes Davis had forty points on 7 shots made while making no 3 point shots. Grizzlies will get no respect until we make our next playoff run.
They will protect the Lakers at all cost this year since they can't milk the GS cash cow any more. The Clippers will destroy them in the playsoff though.
