This will be my first road game to attend in probably ten years. Where is the best place to get tickets?

I live about 7 miles from the stadium. I plan on getting mine outside from a scalper. 30,000 seat stadium and there will be under 10,000 at the game.

If you don't like that method, the TU ticket office has general admission seats at $15 and then you will be able to sit just about anywhere you want.

Oh, cool. I'm going to be in Oswego, KS that morning visiting my wife's grandmother, so we're driving to Tulsa for the game. Actually booked a room at the Campbell Hotel because it's right across the street. Wife couldn't care less, so I'll be bringing my daughter.
I ended up using SeatGeek to get four tickets on the visitor side front row for $15 each after fees. I figure the wife and the 3 year old can start the game and walk back to the hotel if they get tired.

Are there decent food options in the stadium on the visitor side? From photos, it looks like another one of those stadiums where you can't walk to the home side.

Yep.. if we leave by 2pm we can check into the hotel and relax a bit before the game. Maybe eat dinner at Jane's Delicatessen.

Food inside the stadium is little more than hot dogs and popcorn, on either side. I would eat before the game.

I'm not 100% certain, but I "think" you can walk to either side, once inside the stadium.
Went to a game in Tulsa nearly 30 years ago, either 1991 or 1992. Was not Memphis.

You could leave the stadium ad go party in parking lot then return for second half. We did. Got hammered with some radio station disc jockey and some Tulsa coeds.

Was a great atmosphere really.

Do they still do that?

Tulsa does have a decent set-up with tailgating/pre-game stuff. But, it's pretty small. As far as the re-entry, I don't think that's an option any longer. And quite honestly, due to their record and the fact that Saturday will be pretty cold (59 degree high temperature), I expect a tiny crowd, even though it's their homecoming game. I'd be shocked if they draw more than 10,000 for this game.

+2 for taking the time to type out the full word "Delicatessen".
Ha... I was texting my wife the menu, so I just copied/pasted it.
Last game I went to at Tulsa my brother and I drove to Tulsa game day. Tigers won even though they were down to their 3rd string nose tackle. After the game, he wanted to stop off and get a few drinks. Turned out that we went to a Native American bar. As you often see in movies when he entered they all stopped and looked, then someone said you must not be from around here. But had a great time and was on the road back to M town later that night.
When I think of Tulsa, I’m reminded of what a couple of drunk Iowa State fans once asked me at the Liberty Bowl a few years back: “What’s Tulsa spelled backwards?” They then proceeded to shout the answer with a lot of gusto. Good times.

What makes you think they weren't looking at you?

I mean, just asking. I'm not one of the haters.
