Nebraska Athletic Director Bill Moos says, “Playing a game in Ireland provides another way to spread the Nebraska brand, and in this case an international stage.” Moos adds that he and Coach Frost decided this would be an experience of a lifetime for the student-athletes in the program and a great trip for fans. Moos says it will be great to see Dublin, Ireland turned Red.

It will be interesting to see the number of tickets sold. I think ~28,000 was the Notre Dame total a while back? I could be wrong? I know Nebraska has taken this as a number they would like to beat in ticket sales for this game.
I wonder who is giving up a home game for this. It's one thing to do a non-conference neutral site game.
