It's almost like they desperately wanted this to be true, so they could lie us into another never-ending war in exchange for clicks and advertising dollars.

Shame that it was fake. How embarrassing for them.

It's never been more obvious that "journalism" nowadays is nothing more than so-called "journalists" waiting around to hear something on twitter, and they've never had worse confirmation bias.

Enemy of the people.

Isnt it the responsibility of a so called "news" network to raise questions of authenticity PRIOR to airing tape claiming to represent a NATO member committing a war crime? Maybe this is just part of what happens when a so called "news network" decides its no longer going to just report the news but is instead going to get 100% behind pushing an agenda. Back in the cold war, we used to call that kind of "news reporting" by its real name--- "propaganda".
This appears to be a war crime. #CanAnyoneConfirm
Shiate, they don't regret the "error". They regret getting caught in a monstrous lie. I wonder how many Dims believed that story? I didn't because I NEVER watch the MSM news, it's all fake, and they have themselves to blame for people not believing.
The media’s reputation has been in the sewer for a long time. But fiascos like this help to guarantee that it will remain there for a while longer.

Uhh. Pretty sure this wasn't a mistake. It reached the people they wanted to reach, and those people will never see the correction statement.

You’re right, a lot of my OP was tongue in cheek. They know exactly what they’re doing, the numbers behind who will see the so-called correction, and it’s net effectiveness.

It’s sickening, and they don’t care.

This and stuff like what Zucker is on tape of saying is beginning to get a little dangerous for the future of this country. The Press is supposed to be in business and are mentioned in the Constitution to keep tabs and be the watchdog for the people. Not to pick the side of the government and cover for it when the government is doing things AGAINST the best interest of the people. This won't end well.
Be careful guys. They may choose to run a new headline as their correction, "Rescued Syrians Slaughtered in Kentucky" and use it as a push to shut down all American Gun Ranges. After all surely only domestic terrorists use such places. So out of this egregious lie ABC might launch another 2nd Amendment assault claiming that nowhere in the U.S. should such firepower be in the hands of the public.

That is how our enemies work. In their minds they are never completely wrong and the ends justify the means.

Hell, may be we could send some of these guys to Syra. Not too many getting out if that thing.

Be a hell of a "Turkey" shoot!

Wow.

So what? Were they shooting turkeys on the gun range? Or worse yet, Wild Turkey?

I bet they don't even regret that. They've gotten lots of clicks as a result of it.

/Which is why I'm asking and not clicking.
That wasn't a mistake. They simply got caught. But it served its purpose. The correction is always better than not showing it and lying about it.
