Most likely a set up just for the laughts. Some of teh kiss-cams are done this way as well. Still funny.

Reminds me of the time I dressed up as Alan from the Hangover right after the 1st one came out and was in New Orleans for Halloween. Half the girls lectured me about bringing a baby onto Bourbon St. And it was usually a full minute into their lecture they realized it was a doll. The other half tried to make out with the doll. Good times.

(just incase there was any confusion, I wasn't cringing toward you for using this gif to take a moral stand against baby abuse or whatever, I was cringing at the mom whom I thought was clapping on an actual infant's head. Now I feel less guilty for laughing at first)
