Did some quick clicks to find their back averages just over a hundo a game and their pitcher just over 255.

Checking their site was interesting in that all reported weights are on the 5s or 0s.

Seems like this might be our toughest game yet. What's the injury situation?

What are our strengths against this team, and where are we vulnerable against?

Predictions?
Memphis 34
Temple 20
Memphis 35
Temple 21
03-razz
Good thing for us is their qb is a straight up pocket passer but the bad thing is their defense is pretty dang good and even a lot better at home.
Temple is giving up slightly over 10 points a game at home against bucknell,Maryland and gtech...this one may be a close one.
IMO, toughest game yet.
I don’t think they’ve lost at home in over a year. We are only 4 pt favorites.

I would take a 4 point win in a heartbeat.

I agree...I hope our o-line doesn’t get thrashed the whole game.
The Tigers are only playing one game this week, so Tigers 1 - Temple 0.
Game Notes

Memphis (not yet posted) @ Temple (pdf)
This is going to be a great game. It's difficult to get a read on how good Temple is since their marquee win is against Gtech. If we were playing at home, I would have no doubt as to who would win. On the road, I would take a 1 point win very happily. Temple and UC are the ones on the schedule that concern me the most.
This will be a tough game. And, with our injury list increasing, it makes our freshmen get a lot more play time than expected. So, with Temple, I hope they can meet the challenge as starters.

Good news, so far, the freshmen have met the challenge.

The other concern is the defense. It kind of gave in to ULM some. But, ULM had a very experienced/talented team. So, for Memphis to win against them was a good sign. Defense keeps facing better offense all the time, which helps get the freshmen more confidence each game.

The other good sign, is that Brady White finally is throwing the long ball more, which is opening up the running and short game.

Memphis is getting better each game. They're not perfect, and, the offense needs to keep their head in the game, to eliminate those penalties. This is weird, since the defense is on the field a lot more than the offense. You'd think if the offense, because they're not spending as much time on the field, they'd be playing with intensity and not getting as many penalties. Maybe they're just antsy because of the lack of field time.
Temple isn't exactly overrated but they won't win this one. Memphis with the W easily. By at least 12 points.
Claybooks will play some in this game, finally. Broussard will be eligible against Tulane. Those are two HUGE additions to our defense.
This game scares the @#$# out of me. Temple is good. I'm as worried about this game as any on our schedule.
This is an interesting game. Temple will be a test.

Not always. They started running 2 QBs.

27-21 Memphis
lol. It is good our Tiger coaches and players are not fearful wusses.

Fear takes a toll on physical function.

As our favorite fearless Clingon always said, ‘it is a good day to die.’
I think I would add it is a good day to live. lol
