This thread ages like a fine wine every week....
Toledo is falling apart in conference play. Looks like this will be a race between Ball St., CMU, and WMU for the West division.
Question: how likely is Akron to go winless this year? Two seasons after an East title no less.

They'll have to get past Bowling Green to do it.
NIU lost starting QB Ross Bowers in the 2nd quarter. Apparently we had at least four players (our 4th best LB Jordan Cole and 2nd best WR) suspended. Injuries (top 3 LBs and starting DL) on defense, ejections, and now suspensions. This team is falling apart quickly.

Fixed.

You momentarily forgot that our head coach is Tim Lester.

Correct.

This year the MAC is CMU and BSU and everyone else.

And while Toledo won’t go winless, the Rockets have clearly gone in the wrong direction since beating Akron in that championship game. Our conference record this season could end up worse than last season’s.

One of BSU or CMU is going to win this Conference.

I love your optimism but I have a strange feeling that the MACW winner will have 2 losses. I think it will be tough for us or BSU to win out. Weird season so far.

you guys losing another would throw a curveball in the standings/tiebreakers. BSU sitting pretty tho.
Winning out for BSU is kooky talk.

Ohio
@WMU
CMU
@Kent
Miami

3-0 with 3 winnable home games is a nice place to be. I don’t see them winning in Waldo.

A lot of people are mentioning it being between you guys and us. Not sure about all that just yet. A long way to go. the MACW winner will have 2 losses for sure.

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao Have you seen Western this year???? Or last year????

The other games should all be tough but are winnable for a good MAC team, and CMU should be the Division Championship game.
Fun fact: with Miami's wins against NIU this season and last, we now hold the all-time series lead against them and the rest of the MAC; only Michigan, Alabama, USC, and App State can make the claim in FBS.
