Thanks guys on some of the recommendations in a previous post a couple of weeks back. We started at dirty buffalo and had some of the wings that were awesome, hit oconnors brewing, rip rap, and elation brewing and finished up at hair of the dog.
We parked in the parking deck near the basketball arena and had no problem getting in or out. The atmosphere was fun yesterday and the new stadium is nice and had a perfect view from the upper deck.
Hopefully ECU can renew the series again for a home and home, thanks guys

Nice, classy post. I agree that both ECU/ODU should renew this series (even in other non-FB sports), as I think it would be mutually beneficial.
Glad you had a good visit and it sounds like you did it perfectly. Great eats and drinks and drive home with a dub.
I too hope we can get a h+h in ink.
I'd rather do a H&H with you guys than ever play an FCS opponent again. I too had a good time. But yeah we should play in hoops as well.

Glad you guys had a great time. This series needs to happen. It just makes sense. Easy on the team’s travel budget, easy drive for both fan bases - and hospitable environments. I made the trip to Greenville for the first game, and we had a blast.

I had a great time at the tailgate, and was having a really great time until we got our butts kicked. Glad for the ECU faithful who made the trip to watch us fold up in our new stadium. I would rather get splinters in my ass and have a team that competed to their potential, than to sit in comfort and watch a team of equivalent talent mop our new stadium floor with our team. I'm just sayin'.
Post Script: I think we should bring back the 'circle of unity' -- at least when we got our butts kicked we could feel good about all that 'unity' that we built up with the team who destroyed us. New chant, "CIRCLE, CIRCLE, CIRCLE; UNITY, UNITY, UNITY; PLEASE DON'T THROTTLE US!! -- I've got to quit taking ODU Football too seriously, I'll need an ODU Football detox if this keeps up.

Pirates, I'm glad y'all had fun. Y'all showed us a good time in Greenville last year.
When next we meet, I hope you get crushed like the little Corinth grapes you are.
I would love to continue the series with ECU.
Just need to figure out a way to get the refs on our side next time.
