I was free this weekend but with all the recent activity at home forgot to plan on going. So I will be watching or listening. I saw there was no LR radio but supposedly this game is carried on ESPN+ and the Hog radio network.

Looks like many people have drifted away from Trojan Town, not much discussion here about the game many of us wanted for decades! 05-stirthepot I don't know much about out roster other than we have more height and a couple of people that have eligibility issues. Have not been following any sports as of late. I don't look at opponent message boards, especially this opponent.

Those who are going to the game, I hope you have a great time at this historical and charitable event and something to grin about on the way back home.

P.S. For those that care, I think they can now sell 04-cheers at SEC events. Core Brewing Co. of Springdale is the official craft beer of the Razorbacks. Their mascot is a weenie dog.
I'm very interested in what our starting lineup and what our rotations will be. We have a lot of talented guards offensively but personally I want to see which ones can be the best defensively as well.

I also just want to see signs of defensive improvement. I know this is an exhibition game so I suspect we won't have a perfect game but I want to see steals and forcing the opponent to take tough shots.
Arkansas: "This is a nice little exhibition game for charity. Honoring Nolan Richardson and Darrell Walker's lousy little team from the Sun Belt is coming up to play us. We are in the SEC, so we should get some good practice in and a W and it will be a nice gesture."

Little Rock (Not UALR! read your Media Guide, Wally!): "This is the game where we come into Fayetteville yet again, this time with the Men's Basketball team and they avenge decades of frustration, contention, and disrespect from "UAF" and their fans. This becomes that team's MOST IMPORTANT GAME OF THEIR CAREER at LITTLE ROCK!"

Also add in the fact that Eric Musselman's Wolfpack team beat the Trojans badly in Reno last season. So that adds more to the revenge factor and both coaches have knowledge of each other's strategy. Regardless of the outcome, should be one hell of a game!

I sure hope the LR baseball team gives the pregame talk.
Listening to Hog broadcast...c'mon Chuck save your breath and just call them "Little Rock"!

Is there a LR broadcast? I did not see one listed. I'd rather hear Ray than this disrespectful crap.

No LR broadcast. It is on SEC+.
No live stats on the webs either.
Did coupet and Evan's start?
The IMG internet feed crapped out.
So far I see glaring things that need to change:
1. Did we forget about shooting free throws this offseason? That needs to change fast!

2. When Lottie is on the court, we were playing better. So why isn’t he starting or getting more minutes?

3. Palermo and Coupet looked good defensively but not much offensive contribution.
Trojans slip on the Hog slobber and lose by 15.
FTs are a problem and have been for 3 years.
Take away the missed free throws then it would’ve been a different game.

I noticed defensive and even offensive play was better in the half-court. I don’t think we need to be playing fast to be successful and score. When we played fast, we rushed easy shots and had poor pass choices that led to turnovers. The press defense was good too but then again the hogs didn’t look too great offensively other than Joe.

So list of demands in order or significance:
1. Improve the free throw shooting.
2. Control with the half-court play
3. Let Lottie be the guy with the ball coming down the court
I don't think DW is the kind of coach who can or will make his players play at a slower pace.

Nowell is the glamor guy on this team. No way he is not going to be on the court.

We will see what happens when and if Marco gets eligible.
I can easily see Lottie and Nowell being on the court together a lot of the time. They were last season. And if they are, I agree that I want Lottie setting up the offense. The problem is that Lottie is a career 28% three-point shooter, and Nowell is way too short to play the SG spot.
3 out of 15 from the arc certainly is not going to scare anyone. We did win the battle of the boards. Lottie had by far the best +/- number. This game at least probably shows us who our rotation is going to be.
I think Kamani Johnson may be hard to keep off the court this season. If I remember correctly, he was our best rebounder per minute last year, and he started off tough on the boards this time.
