Friends, Comrads, people I don't like,

It's high time we organize and bring cusa.tv down. I know we've gotten most of our football content off of there . I'm hoping hoops is similar. I know several of you have some sway on social media, and within your various Universities. We need to make this a thing.

A) The content is so bad, I truly don't know anybody that actually purchases this, with the exception of player's parents.

B) Several D2 teams in our area get their content on ESPN+, you can't tell me CUSA can't get that done.

C) This is a great baseball and soccer league, which aren't football or hoops, but they are probably the 3rd and 4th most popular NCAA sports, and this is where the content is going.

D) Our current athletes at Charlotte have told me straight up they appreciate me going after CUSA.TV on social media. this is a common thought. Nobody likes to see their mom being held hostage. The player's parents that are buying these streams would pay 50$ a month to see their baby play, and it's criminal we do this to them.

So guys, I'm just asking that any time you notice an event you want to watch on CUSA.TV, let the league hear about it. Let our teams hear about it. Our content is SO much better off on ESPN+ where more eyeballs will see it. Let's make this league better.
They have pulled football off of CUSA-TV. However, it is very good for the exact things you mentioned- basketball, baseball, and misc sports. It is the ONLY platform that enables a CUSA fan to watch the majority of our games in those sports. CUSA-TV also leaves the content up for a year. It will be deleted within 30 days or less on any other media.

There is an easy solution, if you don't want to subscribe don't subscribe.

I bet I could fit all the paid subscribers in my house. CUSA.tv sucks let’s mimic some D2 conferences and put our content on a better platform.
So we should pay ESPN to allow us to see our team rather than have our own network? CUSA TV is not $50 a month. How is signing up for CUSA TV holding people hostage? The streams I've seen are better than ESPN and our schools make more money from CUSA TV than they do from ESPN+. Is this a paid ad or something? Almost seems like parady. .
Most.of the cusa.tv broadcasts are terrible scoreboard feeds.
It has/had potential but It seems like they said "here it is" and haven't tried to improve it since it went online.
The problem is that the same feeds that suck and use jumbotron pictures on CUSA.tv are the same ones that would be used on ESPN+. The problem lies with several of the schools. Both services require schools to produce the content. There is a reason that Stadium goes to basically the same few schools for all of their Facebook broadcasts. Some are way better at it than others and have pumped some cash into their broadcasts.

I'm just blown away that schools still have awful feeds. We have had a fairly good production for basketball since like 2006. It's not that hard.

Football is more difficult but there is no excuse for poor basketball video production .
I don’t care about feed quality as much as exposure for the league. 17 people will see it on CUSATV.

There's no one that browses ESPN plus looking for random games to watch and says I'll watch Charlotte vs ODU. However the increased money from streaming can give us better facilities and coaches which will lead to more wins which leads to more fans.

I’m pretty sure with the money we get from CUSA.TV you could get every coach in the league a stapler for their desk, and that’s about it.

That's not true. I do this all the time.
Agreed. End this stupid thing called CUSA.tv and put all the sports on ESPN+

clt agrees
ESPN+ is $5/month or $50/year. I just checked cusa.tv, it's $11/month or $100/year. Seems like a no-brainer that ESPN+ is where it's at
The real problem is people are discussing this on a message board while the well paid executives of CUSA are wining and dining on our dollar and not advancing us one step. We need better leadership badly and we need it yesterday.

What this conference needs is a Judy Swap!

She's waiting for the call. Just dew wet!
Speaking of Stadium over-the-air TV, the Louisville-WKU feed I was watching Saturday was obviously being streamed and was not uplinked on satellite. And there was constant picture interference in the stream for the entire game.

Was it just my local Stadium affiliate or did anyone else have the same issue?

And C-USA.tv is fine for what it provides. Certainly better than nothing which is what we would be getting otherwise for those sports. The cost to bring all C-USA sports venues up to ESPN broadcast standards is prohibitive in the short term. For the next 2-3 years C-USA.tv has a place.
My old high school does streaming better than CUSA.TV.
I've had a subscription to CUSA.TV. once and it was awful but it was the only way to watch our games. We Charlotte fans have learned that if you want something, sometimes you have to take it by force. Ditching CUSA.TV. needs to happen!
