No Bowl after 2019?
Pac12 will be there 3 years Nothing else is known. In a related bowl question—will there be a Bahamas Bowl this year? Looking at some of those pictures coming out there—it seems kinda unlikely.

The stadium is in Nassau. They came out fine. All the damage is from the islands north of there.

Last bowl eligible team from the PAC-12? That’s looking iffy this year, but it is only 2019.

Yes the Pac -12 has signed on as one of 2 required conferences but they will only play 3 of 6 years as you have stated. The Sunbelt and CUSA have not announced their bowls yet so one of them will probably be signed for the other required conference to meet NCAA regulations. This bowl also needs a sponsor going forward into the next cycle too. In the end this bowl will probably be filled with a lot of rotating at large teams as both contracted conferences will be hard pressed to meet their obligations for this bowl. This bowl needs to increase its payout if it wants to attract P5 teams again other wise it will fall to regional G5 conferences going forward. 07-coffee3

To me, it's a bad sign that the Indy Bowl, and CUSA and the SB have not announced their bowls. That means the news must be bad for all of them.

For CUSA and Sun Belt, does "Wherever ESPN gosh darn wants to send us" count as Bad, or Exactly As Expected?

Well, that's basically true for all the G5, but the other G5 all have their bowls set. This suggests to me that even ESPN doesn't know what to do with them, a bad sign.

Uhhh maybe

We know Sun Belt is going to New Orleans and Mobile. We are pretty sure Sun Belt has something in the mix for Montgomery, Cure and the Myrtle Beach Bowl is in Coastal Carolina's stadium.

Pretty unlikely Sun Belt ends up worse off than the current lineup of New Orleans, Mobile, Montgomery, Cure, Tucson.

Any mix of Montgomery, Cure, Myrtle Beach + maybe Shreveport that gets Sun Belt to the allowed five ties is a win vs going to Tucson which is a great destination but incredibly expensive to fly to the week between Christmas and New Years from most any Sun Belt city.
Any new news on Independence Bowl? Anything on C-USA or the Belt?
