You suck. I made the trip to East Lansing to check y'all out, and y'all checked out before kick off. The offense will be okay but the D is attrocious. No way you beat 2/3 vs. EMU, NIU and UT. Let alone Ohio. Actually id bet 0-4 vs. that group.

Oh, and your small minority of fans ruin it for everyone. Incopitant. Loud. Rude. No other fan base outside of CMU in their own stadium acts like that. The amount of sh!t talking and picking fights I heard for a team down 28-0 was baffling. Know your place.
Are you going to be okay?

Good thing for us, the rest of the MAC sucks too.

Yep we suck. Bet we go 6-6 this year. Ugly, ugly, ugly loss. Our culture since Fleck left has gone from winning to mediocrity is the norm.
The Defense was just as bad last year and beat Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan. It's AWFUL again this year, but would be hard to see it being actually worse. One thing for sure, I'd be surprised at more then 6 wins.
Since you headed up for WMU/MSU in the nightcap, I hope you caught Army/Michigan in the morning slate. That was an instant classic.

I went to EMU/UK after UC/OSU. Hurons will be tough again but need to regain the step they lost defensively. Capable of beating Illinois and winning the MAC if they can.

I'd bet 1-3. We'll pull a rabbit out of our a$$, then blow a game against CMU or Miami-OH -- and go 6-6. Then stumble into a bowl and get blown out. The End.

Most accurate thing I've ever read, just fire Lester and KB already
What MAC team looks good? MAC is regressing and PIG 10 keeps improving. Even marlyand looks legit

Its just a cycle, MAC Has been overachieving past 8 years, it was time for a natural downward trend.
I think the upper teams are proven about the same as last year/we havent seen enough to tell, and some of the worst teams have gotten a bit better. The middle of the league will be competitive yet again.

KSU +
BSU +
Miami +

NIU =
WMU =

Akron --

Most predicted regression from UB, Akron, and BG, without really even predicting a better season for anyone but maybe Ohio and CMU.

The MAC plays lots of road games and are double digit underdogs in those games. EMU, NIU, Toledo, and Ohio have promising ceilings still. Miami and Ball State could really sneak on someone by the results thus far.

Wow. Lots to address here. I'll give it a shot:

1) I agree, the D is atrocious. Am I optimistic it will improve much? Not really, but let's see what happens in the next two weeks against Georgia State and at Syracuse, two offenses that are very capable of dropping 40+ on us if we continue at our current level of play.

2) The offense is going to be more than just "ok" in MAC play. The offense moved surprisingly well against one of the top defenses in the country (no three-and-outs in the first half). Taking two missed FGs, a red-zone INT, another INT in MSU territory, and a dropped TD pass into consideration, the offense left a good 14-24 points on the field. We may have to win some MAC games 49-45, but if the key cogs (Wassink in particular) stay healthy, this offense is capable of it.

3) Since you went out of your way to slam the entire fan base, I submit this link from earlier in the week on the Bronco board for consideration:

https://csnbbs.com/thread-881906-page-4.html

a) You're coming at us through green-and-white glasses.

b) Why cozy up to our fans a few days before the game, then slam us here instead of taking your issues back to our board?

c) Every team has a few idiot fans, yours included. Sorry you had to experience a couple of ours.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly:

4) You need to change the title of the thread. Not because it comes at us, but it's common knowledge at this point that Ken Barna has trademarked "Dear..."

1. I went back to your board.

2. I posted on your board prior because I had good hopes for the MAC going into the week. This shows my anti-homerdome for MSU, and just why I felt the need to post on the MAC board now. I attended with 2 MSU fans, and one WMU guy. I posted on your board, not guessing to be blindsided by dumb and dumber and dumbest WMU fans ever in the section we sat in. Literally to get bouts of laughs at the stupidity of the writhing they attempted to give MSU folks (IN THEIR OWN BUILDING).

I only have a Detroit tigers hat with Sparty on the side to show where my actual roots are. It's Toledo at the top then about 9 Mile's beneath the surface my other rooting interests. (ISU- Matt Campbell, ASU-Family in Phoenix, UNC- power bball team, Ole Miss- friend works for program). I root for MSU against B1G peers especially (really hate OSU and Michigan).

Ive seen Idiot Toledo fans. Every fan base has em. The second I see my own fans talking **** to Ohio State down 28-0, I speak up. Promise.

Personally, as far as speaking up... well, I'd have to judge the situation. I've read and seen too much in the news.

I'm not a spring chicken anymore, and I've got a wife and couple kids at home. In this day and age, I'm hesitant to interject myself into a situation where I'm going to "scold" a group of likely drunk dbags itching for confrontations (even if they are rooting for the same team as I).

I've been to 16 different road game locations in my life, 12 P5s and 4 MAC (EMU, CMU, Miami, Toledo). If I judged every entire fan base by a few alcohol-fueled slobs or trollish comments made, I'd hate everyone.

Very minor correction, but I know it was 21-7 at one point. So unless the TD got erased, we were never down 28-0. I mercifully wasn't able watch the game.
Going to Waldo is always a good time...
K-zoo has a pretty active downtown and Bronco fans are pretty cool for the most part.... Yep and we can be azzholes on our own turf...
See you all next month in the Glass Bowl ..04-cheers

Yes, that is the most important one. Ken Barma has a copyright on that. I'm sure Ken saw the thread thinking "Wait, was I drunk and started a thread last night?"

Yes, that is the good news. We can move the ball on ANYONE. I can only assume our D will get better, not worse or roughly the same as in that game. Not necessarily THAT much better, but at least a bit better -- where you would have seen us force a few punts and give up 10 less points or something.

I don't see us going 5-7, although give us key injuries and that can certainly happen. I see is going 6-6 or 7-5 due to our hellish schedule.
"Incopitant"?

Did you mean 'Incompetent' or 'Incontinent'?

Tant pis.
The MAC looks to be in for a down year this year. Typically teams' success in the MAC (and thus the general quality of play in the MAC) comes from the QB position. Who are the good QBs in the MAC this year? Rourke is probably the best, but he's below the level of past "best" QBs. After that we're down to a bunch of guys that are decent but far from great talents. Wassink is okay, Guadagni could be decent, and health is a ? for both of those guys. Plitt is actually the leader as of this point, but most of his numbers come from Fordham inflation, so jury is out there.

This is the weakest crop of signal callers the MAC has had in quite a long time. As the QBs go, so goes the MAC.
