Will UC be so demoralized and dinged up and injured that the Foreskiners end the streak at 13 and all hopes of a decent season?

Miami dominated TN Tech 48-17 and was up 41-3 at the end of 3 before they called of the dogs while we played like the 1980's UC.
No, they'll come out strong on both sides of the line at home and we'll win by 2 scores. The real test will be after the break going to Marshall to see how we handle the road part deux. Marshall is a good physical team on defense, and we'll see how our offense handles it.
Has anyone heard our injury status?
Demoralized?

I'd be like...

whew! We just went from playing 20-30 NFL players... to those guys.

Miami's not bad, but if there was any demoralization to be had, it was spent in the last game.
Miami did find a QB in Blaine Gabbert's little brother.

I'm more with doss on this. I think/hope that most of our players want to play against NFLish type competition and aren't looking for relief. But I'm hopeful we turn last week's embarrassment into determination rather than demoralization. Could go either way though.
I think UC pulls away in 4th quarter but I think this game can get scary if Cats sleep through the start of the game.

UCLA stinks and UC’s mistakes almost gave the game away. Mistakes against Ohio State killed any chance of keeping it close. Play mistake free and week 1 is 34-14 and week 2 is 35-17. Overall record would be the same but perception would be different.

Play mistake free and this is probably 38-20 Cats. Play like we did the first two weeks and you are looking at a close game. I think UC is really searching to fill the void left by the seniors from last year at the Oline, WR, and Dline spots. Not to mention Wiggins. More difficult schedule and a leadership void can spell early trouble.
They’re going to come out pissed and stomp Miami into dust.
Luke Fickell when asked what the OSU game meant to the team, he'd mentioned "UC plays our rivals next week (being Miami for the Bell.. it's not OSU". He knows what it means and he'll have the boys ready to go.
I like UC in a double digit win. Sucks not having Doaks and McClelland though.

Someone did a statistical study on teams that played Alabama and found they played significantly worse relative to their competition in the two games after the Tide than the two before. Hypothesis was that getting banged up and/or demoralized had a larger effect on them than any perceived difference in competition; would make sense if the same trend held true with OSU.

That doesn't really mean anything for next week, but interesting to note. Our number one receiver will be out but other than that we're going in relatively healthy. Last game was the first time in four years it wasn't close and I'd attribute a lot of that to us having a noodle arm QB in a downpour, chances are decent it'll be tight again.
I respect the poster Love and Honor above, but you guys realize you just opened the door to that Miami(OH)! poster?

Really? Was the "door" locked or something? Did someone say his name three times in a row and forget to put him back?

This is a must-win and is the only game where I feel this way. For me, the rest of the season will be wasted if we lose at home to Miami.

Next two are must win if we want to make bowl plans. Next three are must win if Uc wants any chance at a conference title.
Anything less than a 100 pt UC victory will be a disappointment. Pound them into the dust. Love and Honor to UC.

I think they'll come out strong and play like they did last year against ECU.

Let's hope so. Need to bounce back in a big way.
