Much of which is hilarious considering that state’s bottom or near bottom ranking in all things good

And, trolls, Memphis is not the rest of Tennessee, which is racing as fast as it can to catch Mississippi (and Alabama)

Best to Cindy Hyde Smith

Not interested in self loathing spin, this is a MEMPHIS board, show some pride- note I am reacting to some message board gimps
I've never been that interested in something ranked 50th in its field....and lets be honest, Mississippi ranks 50th in just about everything.

Used to before they got gambling to go along with their income tax. Their tax revenue now enable them to step out in front of tax revolting Tennessee. Arkansas also has gambling and income tax.
The geographic location of Memphis leaves little room for disparaging Tennessee, Mississippi or Arkansas.

We are who we are regardless of superiority complexes.

Let em talk their crap. Unlike Mimi I don't have to live in a house with bars on my windows. I sleep good in my crime free area down here, lol.
Just love when people bash Memphis here

There is a reason we get **** on, so many of us do it to ourselves instead of growing balls

And we do indeed live in the city, have no bars on our windows, sleep great and are as safe as anyone. Why would the tenor be to see that a Memphis alumnus and fan posted some ******* comments from some internet jackasses who disparage Memphis in typical racist and condescending ways, that same Memphis alum posts that link and takes a little shot back, promoting Memphis, on a university of Memphis fan site

And the reaction is not to say yes, I support Memphis, screw them rebel flag worshipping douche bags.

But instead that Memphis fan mocks my home and family and city and essentially our university

Sorry man, but what a self loathing phuck stick

Yes, I know you will feel compelled to respond with some bull**** that I get 9n your nerves or some other tired stupid ass crap, but maybe, instead of our own fans joining in on the style that opposing use when they are nasty, on a fan site, could play along

Someone moves to Olive Branch and adopts the worst of Mississippi attitudes. Grow up.

Seriously man

You do recognize that the geographic location of Mississippi leaves little room for disparaging Memphis right, regardless or superiority complexes

This started with a poke at a bunch of internet ******** who were doing just that to Memphis, or did you miss that?

This is a message board. Grow a pair
NTR so why is it on this board?

Arrogant pompous ass. Typical for a lefty pinko college prof.

I do like that.
they do seem to have an inflated version of their worth.
It’s a bit strange...they won’t be our toughest opponent of the year (Cincy, Houston, UCF in the championship) and it’s not our most important game by a long shot. For them, if they lose, no real shot at a bowl and it cements their little sister syndrome in the region
When people make stupid comments......you tend to think they are stupid.
They do slink out early when behind, though.

lol I remember my whole section standing in unison and jeering them on their missippi way

The majority of which probably live in Memphis, the third most dangerous city in America. So they are stupid for that too.

In my lifetime (1971), Memphis has won exactly the same number of SEC football championships as Mississippi.

Since the inception of the SEC Championship game in 1992, Memphis has played in exactly the same number of SEC Championship games.

Anyone want to guess what that number is?
I believe it is unfair of us to destroy Ole Miz Middle School. They can't help where they are from, and they can't seem to catch on to that fact.
Pretty funny, they trash Memphis but it's where a large % of their alumni relocate to work.

Maybe that is why they were sneaking out. I kinda hated reading the posts about "Memphis has the worst fans" talking about aggressive fans, name calling, cursing, etc.. What I hated about it is, I can absolutely believe it.
We are generally considered to be very good fans. Most schools leave here with a better appreciation for the people and the city.

Granted, when they beat us they have plenty of fans who let us have it. My cousin and his family are die-hard Ole Miss fans and for many years I have had to listen to them brag about beating Memphis. Even the years when they were awful (which were many) "well atleast we beat Memphis".
Well, we did help pad Ed Orgeron's career record at Ole Miss.
