UConn is third from the last. After their departure, the gap between the AAC and the G-4 should widen.

So how come the MWC had a higher one than the AAC last year? If you are a P6, give up the Access bid. Delusions are fun.

Historically bad year by the AAC and historically good year by the mwc and mwc edges AAC out by an eyelash. Here are the relative numbers between the two over the last 6 years:

2018, mwc by 2.61
2017, AAC by 17.12
2016, AAC by 9.78
2015, AAC by 17.84
2014, mwc by 7.2
2013, AAC by 6.99

If you can't see that there is a clear advantage to the AAC, then I can't help you anymore.

A lot closer than the AAC is to the nearest P league.

Well, actually...
In 2017 AND 2015, AAC was closer to the #5 contract-bowl-conference than to the mwc.
In 2016, the gap between AAC and mwc was 58% of the gap between AAC and #5.
Not mwc, but in 2017 AAC was closer to #1 than to the bottom two G4 conferences.
Memphis #53? Joke.
