I don't know who will start but I do know who the top 7 will be

James
Precious
Lance
Lester
DJ
Boogie
Damion
Starters just really don't matter

Rotation
What are they staring at?
I think Malcolm, Tyler and Alo will be a part of that group. It was great to see Damion Baugh hit his 3's today. Took them with confidence and no hesitation.
He said yesterday at the pace they are going to be playing this upcoming season that most of them probably won’t go beyond 6 or 7 minutes at a time. We’re going to a platoon system, probably a 10 to 11 man rotation with the hottest players in whatever particular game in longer

The Starring Five!!!
Personally I’d like to see Alo play with Lance and DJ a little bit.
Today it took a while before Lance got involved and our inside paint height was a huge advantage.
I’m sure Coach will mix it up but in the presser yesterday he said that teams would pick on Tyler and he’s got to respond.(which he did well)

Tyler and Alo have lots of experience playing with each other so I can see the reason for playing them together with Maurice.
But to me, eventually we’ve got to hide these shorter guards and pair them with the bigger guards ie Baugh or Quinones.

It will be an embarrassment of riches with Wiseman & Precious but I think Alo could thrive feeding the big guys.
Quinones might lead us in minutes. His length is for real. I’d like to see him attack the basket more though and step in for some shorter jumpers. 7 of 8 shots were from outside the arc. He may lead us in three point shooting but he could make it as a pro if he plays a more all around game and doesn’t settle for Being one dimensional.

I rode Tyler hard last year but I can see him being our 3rd leading scorer again if he gets minutes, because he’s always gonna take shots. Needs to make greater than 40% to justify playing in crunch time. But I loved his 5 assists yesterday.

Jeffries looks and plays taller than 6’ 7”. Although the competition height has been lacking.
Whose minutes drop with Wiseman & Precious in the lineup?
The 5 bigs will have to share what 3 have played these first 2 days. And Boyce and Hardaway’s minutes will drop in non blowouts. But Hardaway has really impressed me with his athleticism. He could be special by his Junior and Senior year, if not sooner.

So happy and we are 3 months away from the season.

Baugh is the best athlete and defender we have on the 3 perimeter positions. That alone will get him adequate PT. In real games, he wouldn’t have been allowed to takes those 3s with his feet not set (missed 2 wildly). He is a slasher.
Doesn't matter

We are deeeeeeep

Run teams to death with this squad

I like Legster. He’s gonna be a force.

The Starring Five!!!

U doan hafta bea star baby....
I'll predict the Fantastic Five Freshman start:

Boogie
Baugh
DJ
Precious
Wiseman

I think we will go 12-13 deep many games as we should run some teams out of the gym.

Quinones and Thomas will likely be the first two off the bench.
It is a great problem to have.
...to b in my show

They absolutely will, and Maurice will too

Lineup will tighten for sure, but we really have little idea, outside of Wiseman and Precious, who will be in the late season 8-9 man rotation

May stay at 10-11 all year but doubt it
I don't think we've ever had a line-up this deep. I expect the starting 5 to be gameplan specific and used to reward players for various things. This is awesome! How in the **** did we get so deep so quickly! The Penny Effect is real.

I could see it staying at 10-11. Penny played a lot of players last year. Cody Toppert says we have 11 guys who can play after college at various levels. Foul trouble may dictate who is in at the end of the game but if you lose one it's nice to know we have others.

Rotation

Starters don't matter to fans. Some of our most beloved of all time came off the bench for parts of their careers.

But starters matter to kids. They will say they don't. And many will be fine for a while. But at some point, it matters to elite competitors.
