List of players who have reportedly received an offer or interest from High Point for the class of 2020. I will update this past as information becomes known. As with any program, especially a mid major like High Point, there will always be more going on behind the scenes than we are aware of. This thread is by no means an official or complete account of what is going with HPU's recruiting.

1. Dean Reiber: 6-9 PF. Greensboro, NC. Northwest Guilford High School. (Update: Reiber committed to Rutgers on 8/31/19.)

2. Josh Massey: 6-7 PF. Indian Trail, NC. United Fatih Christian Academy. (Update: Massey committed to Western Carolina on 9/4/19.)

3. Nick Farrar: 6-7 F. Holly Springs, NC. Apex Friendship High School. (Update: Nick Farrar committed to NC State on 8/7/19)

4. Justin Wright: 6-1 PG. Farmville, NC. Farmville Central High School. (Update: Wright committed to NC Central on 10/6/19.)

14. Christopher Nobles: 6-7 SF. Garner High School.

15. Cameron Stitt: 6-8 PF. Beckly Prep, West Virginia.
Some notes on the prospects above.

Josh Massey and Ahmil Flowers are our most recent offers. Both received offers this week during unofficial visits to campus. Dylan Blake and Josh Hall both have tweets announcing their offers from HPU pinned at the top of their Twitter pages, which is generally (but not always) a good indication of the recruit's interest in the program.

HPU offered Nick Farrar this Spring but he really blew up over the summer, and garnered some high major interest. His commitment to NC State wasn't a surprise.

I did see some other offers that were mentioned at one time or another on social media, but none were very recent. Not sure if they are still valid.

As you can see, the staff is certainly recruiting the state of NC hard, which makes sense on several levels. The state is talent rich and the chance to play close to home is a draw to some players. The 2019 class was Carolina heavy, as well.
6-4 point guard Nolan Dorsey has reported received an offer from HPU. Dorsey is from Raleigh and has multiple mid major offers.

Three point guards with HPU offers were named on this listing of the top point guards in North Carolina for the class of 2020. They are Dylan Blake, ranked #9; Justin Wright, ranked #7; and Nolan Dorsey, ranked #5.

This article on the top ten small forwards among 2020 North Carolina high school players states that target Ahmil Flowers is down to a "final three" of High Point, Radford, and Western Carolina. Josh Massey, who also holds an HPU offer is also on the list.

Ahmil Flowers stated on social media that he will be announcing his college choice on October 4. That's a long way off, relatively speaking, and I've seen those dates change depending on circumstances, but it gives us an idea of the timetable of one of the HPU targets.

Per posts on social media, HPU extended offers to two more North Carolina forwards this week.

Nicholas McMullen is a 6-8 forward from Ben Smith High School. He reportedly has multiple offers, including a couple from Atlantic Ten schools.

Jonas Aidoo is 6-11 and from currently residing in Durham. Word is that he is a great rim protector, and developing in other areas of the game. He's only 16; there is talk he might take a prep year and go to the class of 2021.

Well, the McMullen recruitment didn't last long. He committed to Murray State today. Given his offer lists, I had the feeling he was a long shot.

Coach Smith and the staff got their first commit of the 2020 class when small forward Ahmil Flowers verbally committed to the Panthers. Good way to kick off the class, and it's always good to get an instate target.

Last season, the Panthers only had one early verbal commitment in time for the November signing period, but in Coach Smith's history he usually has multiple commitments who sign in November. Wouldn't surprise me to see another front court player commit during the Fall.

Talked to a buddy of mine on the staff of one of the Power Five basketball programs in North Carolina. He told me that Flowers has been a late bloomer who he expects to be a very good player at HPU. Feels like he will blossom under Coach Smith.
Per Twitter, 2020 recruit Christopher Nobles of Garner High School received an offer from High Point. Nobles is a 6-7 forward. I read that he is Rudy Gay's nephew.

2020 prospect Cameron Stitt posted on social media that he had received an offer from High Point. Stitt is a 6-8 power forward. I believe he is a North Carolina native but he is currently at Beckly Prep in West Virginia.

Flowers signed his National Letter of Intent with HPU.
