UConn is only going to drive up the ticket prices for the Big East. Demand for the tourney is going to be even more absurd.
MEAC kicking serious ass.
AAC - we are P6, er P7, er P8, er P9
Big East sold out every session in 2018 and 2019, and probably will in 2020. Ticket scalpers can't wait for 2021.

AAC moves to the Dickies Arena next spring west of downtown Ft. Worth.
Major tip of the hat to the MEAC. Terrific figures.
The Big East has clearly the best conference tournament. It’s got the right recipe for what makes a tourney great. Perfect location, with a relatively regional conference with multiple schools within driving distance, and members all focused on it as your main sport.

It’s a great setup.

The only thing that would make it better... is having Syracuse and Rutgers.

Man, I miss the '05-'13 Big East. Top-to-bottom, the best basketball conference in NCAA history.

So...Syracuse is missed at least...

ACC get 11 teams in the tourney?

LOL.

Dickies holds 13,300 for hoops.

Wichita State fans alone will push attendance over 10k per game, guaranteed. If any of Memphis/Houston/SMU/Tulsa are any good, probably sold out.

Good luck to UConn. What they are doing makes good sense for a program that does not want to deal with the expense of FBS football and (very soon) will not need to.

Hopefully, Ft. Worth ends up becoming a solid location for the American's Men's Basketball Tournament. They are running out of cities to have a strong fan turn-out.

Ft Worth will probably end up doing well, Memphis is probably the most central location for all AAC schools though. Orlando was a horrible location for the tourney, it's not near any of the top basketball schools, and the only schools within driving distance are UCF, USF, and maybe ECU and Tulane. Not a good selection of schools for basketball (although all are improving).
Ft Worth, OH brother
