Stopped by today and picked up my package. Here's the deal on the UNC game. Season tickets in the Seahawk Club lower level will be $60 more, due to the UNC game. There will also be two additional home games. Extra seats for the UNC game will be upstairs at $75 a clip.
They are really squeezing every last penny out of this aren’t they?!

Capitalism. Those tickets are worth as much as people are willing to pay. I don’t blame them. That’s the point of bringing a team like that to Trask. The money goes to help the department and the team.

Yeah but your selling out to the big dogs, filling the arena with another color and penalizing the folks that have been there to support through thick and thin(guys like 33 who have had season tickets to everything forever!). I completely understand they Why, i just don't agree with it. Greed!

Just offering a different perspective here. I'm an out of town non-season ticket holder but multi-year Seahawk Club member and I appreciate the opportunity to buy a UNC vs UNCW ticket in advance of them ever being released publicly. There shouldn't be a whole lot of Carolina blue if the Seahawk Club members take advantage of the opportunity. I'll gladly pay $75 a ticket to go towards our program for such a huge event at Trask. Street value will be much higher. I think they are doing the right thing.

EDIT: What I hope they don't do is pull tickets from the students pool to sell.
The corporate seahawk members that are season ticket holders will give some of their tickets to carolina fans

Right, but IMO You and many others that support on a regular basis get penalized.

You maybe right. But what should they have done differently? Charged less or distributed differently or both?

People that have been members/ season ticket holders above a certain level are included in their package?

Season ticket holders are paying $60 more for season tickets. That includes the UNC game plus the fact that we have two extra home games.

Right, my suggestion was that the game would be included for people like you. I honestly don't count the 2 extra home games because there were years where there were less that all comes out in the wash. But, it effects you guys and you don't seem to have issue so i guess that's what really matters. I just hope that many of the diehards don't decline to pay the extra and get that place filled with powder blue

Oh, I'm not happy. But I know it's not going to change anything. I just tell myself the program needs the money. Even though I may have to start a go-fund-me to pay for the Super Seahawk passes.
