Welcome Bellarmine to the A-Sun. I am super happy y’all are here and have been hoping for this move for years. I grew up in the Highlands a few blocks from Bellarmine and use to snow sled and play on the campus as a kid. Very happy to welcome y’all into the conference.

Would love for y’all to share some interesting facts or stories about the school and the athletic teams/players/coaches.
Thanks! Small world that you've hung out on the campus -- it's looking really nice these days.

I sound like a broken record, but I'm giddy about the move to D-I and the ASUN. There's been a lot of coverage, local and beyond, of the move. One of the latest is this piece, discussing some recent hoops recruiting efforts, in the main Louisville newspaper:

Lacrosse at BU has been D-I from its outset in '05 or so, and baseball has sent a few guys to MLB, but basketball is pretty much "the" sport at the university. While having had some good years in the past, the men's team has been playing at a low-to-mid D-I level for the past decade or so, including an exhibition win at Xavier (it was funny hearing the home team get booed after that game).

I'll try to come up with some fun facts or stories, but you might find something interesting here:

Braydon Hobbs is probably Bellarmine's all-time best basketball player; if memory serves, he went to the NBA pre-draft camp, and I know he is currently playing on a Munich squad which plays in the top league in Germany and in the EuroLeague.
