Emotional video shows moment color blind high school graduate sees color for the first time: 'It's so pretty'

I didn't know such devices existed to help those who are colorblind see the wonderful different colors that they have been missing. I agree with Goshuami “Gigi” Valoy, color is pretty.

What a great story. There are so many senses we take for granted until they're adversely effected. I had a major sinus infection, and surgery, that completely changed my sense of smell and taste for almost three years. It seems a minor annoyance but it isn't, not at all.

As a young man in the phone business we used to have to learn color codes for all kids of wiring. One guy just couldn't get it right, turns out he was color blind. Fortunately for him they found other work for him.

The look of joy on her face was worth the time it took to watch this piece.
